This was purchased as a replacement for an older model which broke down. It fitted the opening size exactly and although a bit fiddly, was easy to install. During the past 2 weeks, it has performed very well.

Easy to install, Clear operating instructions but the controls are pretty much intuitive anyway. Good space inside and well lit. A good match for existing Neff oven

It looks smart and cooks well, as you'd expect, and fitting was very straightforward, even for a non-DIYer like me. I've had Neff hobs and ovens over the years and always found them extremely good, but unfortunately I do have some gripes with their built-in microwave. The brushed steel surround is noticeably shinier than the Neff double oven I bought it to match. Why isn't it the same? 25L was the largest capacity for a built in microwave that I could find, but as others have said, it is disappointingly small inside, certainly compared to my previous Panasonic free-standing model which actually has smaller outside dimensions. The left hand (hinge) edge looks unfinished. I even checked the box for a piece to complete this but I now realise it's standard as another reviewer mentioned it. Instead of a ping when the cooking time is finished, it bleeps continuously until you stop it, which is unnecessary and annoying. I think I would have preferred the buttons to show defrost, high, medium, low, etc, instead of just the numerical heat levels but I expect I'll get used to this and may even prefer it in time. All in all, I feel rather let down. Next time I change the kitchen, I'll ensure I factor in a space for a free-standing (probably not Neff) microwave.
