At Coombe Farm Organic, all of our livestock is reared in high-welfare systems and our land is managed according to stringent Soil Association rules. That means the pasture our livestock grazes isn't treated with chemicals so their meat is clean and untainted. Our flocks of sheep live outdoors year-round, only coming indoors very briefly to lamb. In the summer they eat fresh meadow grass and in the winter they're supplemented with hay and silage made on the farm. Living on this diet lends our mutton an authentic sweet and herby flavour that's a true taste of tradition.
