“Whilst I am still new to detailing, this backing plate I find is a massive step-up from my stock one which was very hard (came with my powerstorm machine). It has completely removed all juddering and vibrations while polishing and cutting, and allows a bit more flex in curved panels with my 6" pads. Described as an ultra soft backing plate, it is firm to the touch. It is still worth every penny, and made a massive difference to my detailing. Definitely give it a go if you use a cruddy backing plate. You will not regret it!”
