“The packaging is beautiful and the colours are true to what I saw online. They seem to stay on well but are quite hard to apply neatly. That might improve as they get older and less juicy? The glitter is underwhelming and when you press your lips together for the glitter to show, sometimes the pigment peels off one lip and sticks to the other. Not ideal. Much more noticeable in the darker colours. Real shame. Wouldn't recommend them and think they're poor value even on the half price offer.”
“I am OBSESSED with the Glitter Flip Lip Color! It is long wearing and sparkly, but not overdone. It comes in a lip gloss type of applicator, but goes on as a velvety matte lip color with sparkle to it. My favorite color is Crush (in my picture attached and it’s a universally stunning pink-mauve shade). I have about 8 of them, they are just stunning and I lip to keep it on me at all time. I also like the color Valentine for the Spring & Summer because it’s a lighter, baby pink and it just looks stunning on a nice sun kissed face. Scandal is also a beautiful candy-apple type of red if you need a good red and Undressed is the perfect nude!!
I feel like the Glitter Flip lippies are longer wearing than Kylie Lip Kits too. For Kylie’s kits I may retouch 1-2x a day, whereas with Ciaté, I apply when I leave my house and whenever I eat (even though it stays pretty strong when you eat, I just get in the habit of touching it up). I honestly can’t say enough good things about it! Go try it!
P.S. - One of my orders was wrong and it was such an easy, pleasant customer service experience and I was immediately resent my correct items and I got to keep the other Glitter Flip (in Valentine) because I had opened it and thought it was Crush (the only color I wear and I had ordered 4 of them), but inside the box was actually Valentine and I didn’t notice until after I applied it...but they let me keep it since it was used and they couldn’t resell it and rushed me my correct order with ZERO fuss!”
“If you want permanent sparkle even through a gym session then Glitter Flip is for you! I was scraping the bottom with a cotton bud waiting for my replacement to arrive! I've now got 2 and its the only thing I wear on my lips!”
“One of the shades I ordered did not suit me. I contacted Customer Service and asked if I could send it back for refund. They said I can only send it back if unopened and in original package. I bought the product online and they did not send a tester, so I had to try the actual product on my lips, of course!!!
I wish they were more understanding or at least thing about this issue and next time send some small testers together with the product, so that the customer can try the tester rather than opening the product. I just think it’s not fair, I now have an expensive lipstick that I cannot use...
