As long as you make sure that you wait, until the lipstick drys properly, before pressing your lips together, the glitter appears no problem. I have two full size ones in Iconic and Fortune and 5 minis from the gift set. I have been mixing trouble and valentine lately, to create a new shade to match my dress and they work brilliantly like that as well.
