“As a shavette enthusiast, I really wanted to try one of the many Kamisori style razors available on the market. I chose Barbarossa Brothers' Short Kamisori Cut Throat because of its beautiful design and because I like the freedom to use any blade I like!
The razor's head is quite unique and resembles a clothes peg, where you need to squeeze the top to insert the blade at the bottom. Although I personally don't find this system particularly easy to use, it does keep the blade firmly in place to ensure an accurate cut. Notably, the razor head can be completely disassembled for a thorough clean after each use and easily reassembled. All in all, the quality feels excellent!
