“I followed the instructions and lightly oiled the banneton followed by a heavy dusting of flour but the dough completely stuck to the surface which ruined 6 hrs of proving.”
“I bought two of these bannetons with matching liners. I am delighted with the results I am achieving with these bannetons. They are very sturdy and easy to keep clean. Using the liner the bannetons remain so clean that it is hard to know that they have been used. With the liners loaves drop out of their banneton without fuss. The liners are also easy to keep clean. It is easy to shake off the remaining flour and wash them in the washing machine in a white wash along with other items.”

“You rest dough in a basket to get the nice pattern on your bread. Well - I can assure you that it won't happen with these plastic ones. It's a great idea to use plastic in this case because it won't become moldy especially when you live in the tropics. In making these plastic baskets, they could have and should have made the design exactly the same as the cane ones. Unfortunately they did NOT. Should have bought only 1 to try - but no! - I bought 6! :-(”
