“Delivery by DPD was very efficient. These are just a few positive but brief comments on the mixer, as so much has been written by others, it's hard to add much more here. However, I was impressed by how robust the Ankerstrum is, and how smoothly it runs. I like the variable speed, simplicity of the controls, and how easy it is to transform the Ank from one mode of operation to another in a few seconds. I am also impressed by how the designers have avoided, what must have been a tempation, to incorporate fancy touch-screen controls, ostensibly to make the machine seem fashionably modern. Thank goodness they did'nt do it. Instead the overall design is deceptively simple, easy to understand and use, yet still elegant and reliable. I look forward to using it a lot and have already made a couple of wholemeal loaves.”
