“I couldn't be more pleased. Being cordless is such a bonus. As light as a feather and so slim and manoeuvrable. Suction is surprisingly good, with three settings (one for hard floors - no brushes, and two more settings for carpets with rotating brushes) all at the touch of a switch on the handle. I had read some reviews that said it does not pick up around edges but I have not found this to be the case and have had no problem. It deals with my long-haired cat's fur with ease. Recharging is simple, taking around three hours to charge from flat and there is a clear LED display showing how much battery power remains. Apparently on the highest setting, the battery power depletes rather quickly, but I haven't had to use it too often as the 2nd setting does the job well, lifting the pile on the carpet to give that just vacuumed look. On the down side, I find removing the handle and main floor base section, in order to use the flexible hose, rather fiddly. However, it is so light to carry around with the shoulder strap, there is no need for a long hose to get tangled with feet and mains lead as with conventional vacuums, so it's a small price to pay and I dare say I will get the knack of it with practice. Also, I find the dust collector does need emptying after every clean, as it is quite small, but it is so quick and easy to do, it's not even irritating! Overall, this sleek, beautifully styled vacuum cleaner takes up very little storage space, is very good to look at and very good to use, with excellent results on all surfaces. For me, it beats a traditional vacuum cleaner hands down in all areas - style, convenience, suction power, size, weight and cost.”
