Niravan Helles Lager is a classic, artisan beer, thats alcohol-free. Crisp and refreshing in taste, it has a perfect balance of subtle hops and pleasant malt flavours, with gentle carbonation and a delicious nectar finish. Made with 100% natural ingredients, all sourced within 20km of the 500-year-old Bavarian brewery. As well as being only 66 calories a bottle (less than half its alcoholic equivalent), it is also vegan, rich in Vitamin B12 and full of folic acid. This is an isotonic beverage, meaning its perfect for hydrating you after working-out, or whilst out working. Great tasting, great for you. Alcohol Free Beers are made just like the alcoholic ones with water, yeast, hops and barley. Some are brewed to a lower ABV and some have the alcohol removed through various techniques. Across Europe beers below 0.5% ABV are classed as alcohol free. In the UK drinks that are between 0.05% and 0.5% ABV are classed as non-alcoholic. What is Isotonic? Isotonic means the drink has between 4g and 8g of carbohydrates and contains key minerals and vitamins that your body loses through exercise. I love a Helles lager and this one is delicious! It's packed full of great flavour and a hint of sweetness that helps with any bitterness. The Bavarian style brings richness and mouthfeel. Definitely a big hitter in lager! Will be buying again for sure :)
