Beavertown Lazer Crush Alcohol Free IPA (0.3% ABV) Reviews

Heavyweight flavour, featherweight ABV. The Beavertown in your face IPA, that just happens to be alcohol-free. When they decided to brew an AF IPA, Beavertown wanted to roll a bit differently. Rather than brewing with small amounts of malt or dealcoholizing after fermentation, for Lazer Crush they used a clever strain of yeast that fully ferments their crisp pilsner malt without producing alcohol and adds a hint of peachy fruit to boot. Then they laid down some heavy-duty hops. Azacca for ripe mango with a hint of fresh pine, Amarillo gives bags of sweet orange and Citra adds the zesty citrus and grapefruit bitterness that we all want in an IPA. Alcohol Free Beers are made just like the alcoholic ones with water, yeast, hops and barley. Some are brewed to a lower ABV and some have the alcohol removed through various techniques. Across Europe beers below 0.5% ABV are classed as alcohol free. In the UK drinks that are between 0.05% and 0.5% ABV are classed as non-alcoholic. How is this product Vegan Friendly? The drink is free from any animal products or derivatives. In addition the bottle, label and glue is also free from animal products.

My favourite AF beer so far, great if you don't like lager and prefer your craft beer not too bitter.

Will be a little sweet and light for some tastes but i enjoyed this one and can imagine it will be a refreshing option on a hot day. Nice flavour and a good fizz.

I've had Beavertown beers before, all are generally well hopped giving bitterness, sometimes too much. This AF beer is fantastic, not too bitter but chock full of tropical fruity flavours. Super refreshing and one that I will order again and again. The artwork on the can is awesome too.
