We purchased this camera to find out how many Hedgehogs visit the feeding station each night. We have set it up with a Pi 4 and are currently using MotionEyeOS to detect the 'hogs and start filming. The video quality is OK, decent enough for our needs, but when you consider it is filming in near total darkness and the low price. it is quite impressive. Fiddling about indoors we have taken much better images at the full resolution controlling the camera in Python and using ISO 400. We are going to try a PIR detector with it instead of MotionEyeOS to get higher quality images of the 'hogs. To summarise, a great camera for spying on the garden wildlife during the night, we are very pleased with it.
