“I'm a female property investor constantly forking out for small plumbing repairs - so wanted to learn to do it myself. It makes financial sense to pay someone to do the work for me. However - because I need to turn up at a property when there is an issue - it makes sense I fix it while I'm there because most times it will be something very simple (but I didn't know how to fix these issues.... Until now!) I was worried about being the only girl, but felt instantly relaxed. Lyndon was a great teacher and good laugh. On the 5 day intensive plumbing course I learned how to fit pipes using soldering and compression fittings, plumb a full bathroom (fitting the pipes through the entire bathroom, plumbing in all taps, putting the toilet together etc), fit radiators, fit a kitchen sink with plumbing (including T-ing off for a washing machine and an outside tap). I've learned a few jobs tradesmen have done for me were nonsense - so now I'm much wiser to what is required (and can do it myself). The biggest surprise was how easy repairing a toilet is. Parts are usually around £10 (£20 max) and they screw in so why waste money having someone come fix it? As soon as I got home I fixed a few issues that had been bugging me for months. I may return to do joinery or learn to fit worktops next. Thanks YTA!”

“Very much enjoyed the course, 20 mins in on the first day and we were using the hand tools to make different joints. The speed was good moving onto the next step as soon as we were ready. Matt was very knowledgeable, sharing his expertise and experience with customers in his trade. Felt fully competent by the end of the 5 days teaching.”

“An excellent course, great instruction from Dave and a good range of skills taught and a decent sized bay to learn how to plaster walls and a ceiling. I spent some time looking on the internet for a suitable course and am very pleased I came to Bradford from Wiltshire (I stayed at a reasonable travel lodge down the road). I’ve subsequently plastered a few rooms at home. The course has given me the confidence to do this and I’m very happy with the results. I bought an orbital sander to remove any small marks but I’m definitely getting better with more practice.”

“Attended a taster day, to some extent I enjoy what I did but found that tutor could have made my experience a lot better. Other down side is YTA only offer fast track for level 1! Which means the info on the website can't be true?.”

“I finished my 5 day multi trade course today and what an experience it was, i went into this course not knowing a thing about plastering and tileing and can confidently say i cant wait to start applying what ive learn from these guys, dave is an absolute legend he has helped me so much through this course and made it simple and easy to learn the basics of these trades, paul and hayden are top blokes as well, id highly recommend anyone to give these courses a try or at least check these guys out online it WILL save you money learning these basics, they also do more in depth courses not only for beginners like me but but for people who have also been in the trade a long time, thanks again guys, already thinking about comeing back to do the plumbing course with paul”
