“awesome staff were very friendly and helpful and sell pretty nice things at affordable prices. things like swords to knives to mugs to armour awesome place to visit will be going back again and the shop itself looks really nice the owner of it must be proud with the building and staff ❤️❤️”

“Outstanding customer service. I obtained my second purchase I was remembered by staff which was nice For the second time I was expertly guided and given unbiased information to help me find a product to replace my knife, saw and axe .I was shown a knife that had a saw to cut and blade that could be used to chop wood .All my doubts about the saw were brought to a end when a old piece of wood was obtained and the saw demonstrated. The staff member was well informed and knew the products he was selling .There weren't no hard sale techniques just honest trustworthy advice about a good quality product .I look forward to my next visit and purchase. I highly recommend a visit you will not be disopionted .”

“I brought a small item the firesarter for ridiculously cheap price of £30. I was treated really well .Staff could have not been more helpful I will be back to purchase other items of interest Thank you for a great product and excellent customer service.”

“Awful customer service. Manager of the store made us feel very uncomfortable. He watched us constantly as if we were about to steal something. It was like he didn't want us there. Will mot be returning until he has been replaced/ heavily disciplined”

“Ordered a lord of the rings sword replica online, easy to use. I have read some really bad reviews for this business over the last 3 months saying how rude the staff are and how people have not received orders or items have been missing or broken however that is not my experience although i have only communicated with the store via email they have been quick to respond and very helpful and product its self is fantastic, i am so please, like with all small businesses be patient don't expect next day delivery but it was definitely worth the wait, will definitely be using again however will probably make the journey up to york to see the store for myself as it looks fantastic and looks like somewhere i can spend a lot of money very quickly 🤣”

“Today I visited the shop the stuff was kind of rude I took a sword from the display just to feel, weight it because I wanted to buy it, they took the sword from my hands immediately and told me that this is only display and don’t have any in stock and they can not sell it!”

“Travelled from west mids to purchase items from this shop today however we were met with extremely rude staff and refused entry for not wearing a mask even though I am exempt. Angry and humiliated doesn’t quite cut it. I shall be seeking legal action, 3 hour drive to be spoken to like that. Equality act 2010? Owner of this shop really needs to stop discriminating and learn the human rights act.”

“A story of two half's! So I ordered two larp swords no issues so far then I read some reviews and oh dear I thought but let's see! Tracking number provided great I thought however the status never changed always saying there waiting to receive the parcel from the sender so a few phone calls in the week resulting in the response of yes it will be sent out probably that day but the next day no change at this point I thought I was going to get no where even bought swords else where as a back up plan but then I received a call from the owner/manager (I presume) he was most apologetic and explained the stocking issues and he offered a replacement sword and would get it straight in front of the list and true to his word they arrived today well packaged and as described so a rocky start but I appreciated the call and these things happen so all in all pleased.”

“Bought an item in-store despite the overly aggressive sales pitch (seriously guys dial it back a bit - it's cringeworthy) and arranged for it to be delivered "shortly" afterwards. After two weeks there was still no sign of it. I tried emailing to find my messages were read but not replied to so followed up by phone. Three phonecalls and another week later I was finally given a tracking number for the courier. The item arrived damaged (no surprise given that it was wrapped in a bin liner) and in a tattered, sun bleached box. The refund process was equally drawn out and filled with outright lies at times. It's worth mentioning that even though the parcel had apparently been with the courier for weeks, the delivery note said it was posted just a few days prior to me recieving it... funny that. Save yourself the bother and just walk past the place. I guarantee the knock-offs and factory seconds in there can be found online for much less. You're also more likely to receive your items on time and in one piece!”

“This shop is an absolute joke. Nothing on display or shown on line is actually in stock. They will take your money but don’t have any intention of actually ever sending you anything. I would not trust any review over 1 star for this ‘shop’.”

“I visited this shop at the beginning of August 2019 and paid for a sword they had on display. They told me it wasn’t in stock in their shop, but their warehouse would post it to my home address. After countless phone calls and emails the sword has still not been delivered and they are not responding to my emails or phone calls. I think this shop is actually a scam and they don’t have any stock and just ‘fleece’ tourist who buy items at inflated prices knowing they are unlikely to visit the shop again when their item is never delivered. Avoid this shop like the plague. They will rip you off big time. Be warned.”
