“Excellent meat, and the place to find unusual cuts, with e peace of mind that it has been ethically raised. Also a shout out for the sausages which have authentic gutsy flavours.”

“Turkey was outstanding and also the ham.The sausages tasted good but we found three slivers of bone in them which somewhat detracted from the enjoyment.”

“Delivery finally arrived after we collected from another address in Church Street! No address can be found by delivery driver if it only has a street name on the label and his documents. Even though you were notified and DPD were notified of missing house name prior to delivery nothing was on the delivery driver’s docket!”

“Good selection of meat available including some unusual cuts. Simple to order online & good choice of delivery dates available. Not the cheapest butcher but hopefully the proof will be in the eating”

“Everything was lovely. However, the whole chicken had broken ribs on one side so that it was lopsided. The butcher must have been heavy handed. Nothing serious but it could have looked better on the family dining table. It did taste delicious.”

“Another excellent delivery of meat. The packages of meat were well packaged and insulated with frozen packs of water that kept the meat very cold. The packages of meat were clearly labelled and all looked lovely, with the right amount of visible fat. My only gripe being was the delivery driver from DPD left the marked fresh meat package on my front porch which is visible from the main road and I only just heard his knock despite having a visible ring doorbell. He was driving off by the time I got to the door. This is a gross failure on the driver and unfortunately not the first time he has done something as stupid as this”

“Thank you for a great service and delicious meat! I’ve ordered several times already, all was great. Except, in my last order one out of three Ox tongues was rancid, extremely smelly, awful. Not sure how this happened. Other two were ok.”

“I eat beef steak all the time , always have. I found Swaledale very high quality beef and delicious. Would easily be 5 stars if I could afford a box a week .”

“Good quality meat and a bonus that it is delivered fresh and not frozen. Only issue is the skin on the sausages is a little but hard for my liking.”

“I think part of the meats are mixed with not-so-good stuff. I feel when my mouth says 'no'. It's a bit sad, I'd expect highest quality but I will take another look.”
