Meeting professionals at the end and asking them questions and learning about how medicine improved through out life

I attended a course on AI in medicine and would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in medicine as it gives an insight to what the future of this field will look like. The speakers handled some technical difficulties with expertise and I found the practical both engaging and beneficial. The highlight for me was the Q&A section where we had an opportunity to question expert speakers.

I attended the careers in hacking course and would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in the field of cybersecurity. I feel that it has helped me to better understand the opportunities in this field and found Dan was very informative and helpful. The practical exercise was also a nice ending to the information learned in the morning and very engaging. The Q&A session was very helpful as well and I found the career paths of the experts to be very interesting. Overall the course opened my eyes to other possibilities in cybersecurity I would otherwise have not known about/considered and has encouraged me to practice things like HackTheBox. 10/10 experience

I attended the Careers in Hacking session, the main speaker Dan was very informative and had lots of interesting and funny insights about his time spent in the cyber security industry. The practical exercise was also good fun, a mix of things I had seen before as well as some new methods for attacking vulnerable websites. The hour QnA with several industry experts was useful for asking about ways of getting into the industry, as well as what people's typical working day looked like.

I attended the Hacking Course and can definitely say it was worth it. It gave a generic overview of hacking and its different options and careers. It also focused on a practical section that gave a brief understanding of how hacking works and the 2 main strategies to approach a system.

I attended the AI in Finance Skills Gap workshop , I had the privilege to ask successful experts questions about the finance industry and AI learning which gave me a powerful insight , I learned a great deal more about how AI is used within finance and I had the opportunity to get first hand experience coding in python in the practical. This was a great workshop , I got help with my personal statement and after the workshop I also got emailed many great resources related to the workshop . It was definitely worth the experience and insight.

I took part in the AI in Engineering course which was a great introduction to AI. I learnt a lot about AI and what its future holds in engineering. I found the coding stimulating however I would have liked to be challenged further! The speaker was engaging and passionate making everything clear and easy to understand. The Q+A at the end was particularly useful with three panelists answering all the questions we may have had such as about universities, recommended reading and advice about engineering. I would recommend it if you want to learn more about AI, coding and engineering.

I thoroughly enjoyed attending virtual work experiences with Skills Gap. I have completed the AI in Medicine and AI in Engineering workshops and both were really informative on different jobs in the sector and enlightened me to the different opportunities available. For both, there was a mix of learning what AI is, completing a practical using python coding (even as a beginner!) on the specific sector and then a panel discussion. The panel discussion was excellent and each person was very knowledgable about their careers and you could ask questions for them to answer. Overall, a great experience and would like to attend another one in the future.

The workshop was really good! It was interesting to get a context of AI and the various application of using AI in the world. Furthermore, the guided project was fun as the instructor made it easy to follow and he gave an explanation of what each line of the code does. The final Q&A session was helpful as the panelists had different backgrounds and are now in a job related to AI. Overall, it was really fun! Thank you so much!

I attended the Coding for Games Design Workshop and found it really helpful! It gave a good introduction to JavaScript whilst also introducing vital information about the games industry. Hearing from people in the industry themselves and being able to ask them questions was also really insightful! I would recommend for anyone interested in the gaming industry.

I attended their Coding for Games Design workshop, and found it incredible. They brought along experts who had worked in the field for many years, giving us an amazing perspective from someone inside the industry, and the hands-on experience was great for showing how delicate and precise code had to be to function as intended.

I attended the AI in Astrophysics workshop. I really enjoyed learning about what astrophysicists do in their day to day lives, and I especially liked the practical part which gave me an insight to how coding is used in astrophysics. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who is interested in studying astrophysics, or how AI works.

I took part in the AI in Astrophysics workshop. I found it very useful since it gave me an insight into a variety of different careers that involve astrophysics and I was able to submit and vote for questions at the end of the workshop which could be answered by the three panelists. In particular, I enjoyed the presentation given by the guest expert although the practical part of the session was also very interesting. We were also given lots of resources at the end of the session so we could explore the topic further, which was really helpful.
