About Mountain Dog:

Mountain Dog are proudly the UK's Premier Dog Outfitter.
Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.

Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

We are proud to be a leading independent partner of world class brands such as Ruffwear, Dog Copenhagen, Kurgo, Kong, Non-stop dogwear, K9 Sport Sack, Rukka, ChuckIt!, Kong, EzyDog and many more.

These quality brands are all complemented by a full range of dog care accessories and our own brand of food, accessories and treats.

Based in beautiful Northumberland our business sells on-line and at major dog events throughout the country such as Crufts.

Customer service, fast delivery, providing quality items, timely advice and all with a smile is at the heart of everything we do. We dont get it right all the time but this is always our objective.

“Very good customer service - good product knowledge and very helpful. Eventually purchased Non stop trekking dog raincoat- really pleased with quality and fit after trying many different alternatives. My spaniel is constantly moving and coat allows for plenty of activity whilst stays put.”

“Te service is fantastic. I placed the order for a K9 Sport sack on the Saturday on a 2 working day delivery, it was processed and shipped, emails with confirmation of order,shipping details and tracking number all came through. Parcel arrived on the Tuesday, well packaged.”

“Well since you asked for a review. Happy with the speed of delivery and availability of product, would use again. What I don't like is your bait and switch marketing on google ads. Maybe it's not intentional but everytime I click a google ad for one of your products the price is then higher on the website. That's not nice and I nearly went elsewhere for that reason alone.”

Alas, there are instances where a product price will increase naturally, or where it is no longer available at a promotional price. Sadly as big a Google are there is always a frustrating lag on the Google search software picking up on any price increases and is something we and other retails have no control over. “Really helpful company. We ordered 2 waterproof coats for our dogs. One was too small so we returned it and received a full refund. I rang prior to refund to see if any other coat would be more suitable and the gentleman I spoketo was incredibly helpful.”

“Very pleased with the service, product and prompt delivery. It gives a good coverage of his whole body. He doesn't mind wearing the coat and has enjoyed a gentle walk and playing fetch. The coat allows for ease of movement without any discomfort. We haven't experienced any heavy rain yet, however it has survived the muddy fields. Very pleased with the coat and already recommended it to friends!”
