“We ordered a slightly complicated 3-shelf bookshelf with different sizes of shelves. Although this was beyond my abilities with the online design tool, Made In Ply were really helpful on email and on the phone to get a final version we are very happy with. Putting the shelf together takes some time and elbow grease but it is pretty easy, although we needed to use our own Allen keys as the one supplied was too large. Overall we are really happy with the end result and I would very much recommend the product and company.”

“We ordered a bespoke desk and we couldn't be happier with it. The design was pretty tricky as it needed to fit in a particular space and be tall enough to clear a windowsill but low enough to not be in the way of shutters. The design team could not have been more helpful or patient in making sure everything was millimetre perfect. We choose a non-standard Fromica colour, and ordering sample was easy and straightforward. The product arrived early and it is beautiful. the workmanship is first class, it fits exactly and the assembly was super easy. Very impressed with the service and the product. Highly recommended.”

“I was considering all my options for a standing desk and initially planned to get a desktop and then source the stand separately. I’m glad I didn’t because the quality of the stand made in ply stock and the option to have it drilled, delivered and BUILT is a killer. Great experience and highly recommend.”

“Very happy with the quality of the workmanship and the finished product. It is very precisely made and fits together really well and feels well made. All the end where you can see the ply are super smooth too. Dan was great in helping put together the design and we will definitely be commissioning another few pieces.”

“Furniture is fantastic and incredible quality. The communication and service is very good. Loved dealing with the company. No complaints at all. If we did want to offer any improvements it would be around the assembly instructions. We opted for self assembly, which would have been a big challenge of my husband wasn’t a dab hand at DIY. Would recommend images to be bigger and clearer showing fixing points and types of fixings to be used.”

“Easy to use online ordering service. I asked for the delivery to be flat packed and it was well-packaged with instructions and easy to assemble. The finishing and accuracy of the sizing were exactly as specified and good after service in a phone call that solved a mistake in fitting that I'd made. Well worth the money and wait. Would highly recommend for quality, finish and service.”

“The service is good and the products are top quality however the high prices and long lead times are hard to justify. I've started using CNC creations and plydirect instead as they offer more competitive pricing and delivery within days, not months.”

We are a small team who handcraft our custom products to order, which will mean longer lead times than buying something off the shelf. However, we are working to build our team, and reducing our lead times is a priority.
