When Josephine Home was founded, it was with the belief that while fashions may change or come and go, a desire for true quality and for unique experiences would never entirely disappear. This belief has led Josephine Home on a personal quest to rediscover original bed linen, household textile traditions and its great craftsmen. “I have several sets of bed linen from London And Avalon now. They only improve with age and are wonderfully luxurious to lie in. I have just washed, ironed and made my bed fresh and ready. I can’t wait for my evening bath, and the pure bliss of slipping under those crisp smooth sheets”

Hi Jill, thanks so much for taking the time to review us. Our filled goods are all freshly filled to order, as explained on our website, with a lead time of 10-15 working days. It was unfortunate that your order of the 22nd December then coincided with the mill's Christmas closure until early January. For this reason, and the natural bottleneck, we understand it was frustrating not to receive them until 11th January. We hope you are enjoying your pillows though, now and for a long time to come. “The towels I bought recently (to add to those bought previously from Josephine Home alongside both their cotton percale and sateen bedding) are exceptional quality. Wonderfully thick and fluffy, and beautiful embroidered with my initials. The bedding with the beautiful ribbon decoration is both visually stunning as well as a pleasure to touch and sleep in. It’s the only bed and Bath linen I use and would consider using. One of life’s little luxuries, and they are also long-lasting and therefore sustainable.”
