“Great location, would book again! We booked with Herdwick Cottages who were brilliant. Lots of communication and information received prior to our stay which made checking in and accessing the lodge super easy (much appreciated, thank you!) A lovely lodge with a great hot tub. Close to amenities and site facilities. We enjoyed the pool, sauna, steam room, arcade and also had a delicious meal at the restaurant too. The lodge was warm and cosy, had a nice kitchen, bathroom etc & plenty of beds to choose from. Very close to the lake and short drives to equally beautiful locations. We really enjoyed our stay here and would book again in future.”

“An excellent holiday experience, due to both of the communications and services, provided by Hardwick cottages, and by the outstanding accommodation: clean, homely, extremely comfortable, and very spacious. Perfect place to restore and reset!”

“From start to finish of our booking your service has been great. 100% help with communications regarding our stay. We will be visiting the property again in the future. Thank you for a seamless service. High Brow Edge Farm House was a very beautiful home for us for the week. Fantastic location to visit all destinations around the lake District. Will be re-booking in the future.”

“I stayed with my elderly parents in the centre of Kendal in a Hardwick cottage! The cottage is well equipped, we ate in every night. The cottage was cosy and comfortable, it felt like a real home. From home! Highly recommend!”
