About Elite Models Online:

With more than 30 years experience in the model retail business having opened our first store in 1988, we aim to supply you with the greatest variety of models at extremely competitive prices. The team at Model World UK strive to provide excellent customer service - we don't just sell models we all have a love for what we do, and we also take part competitively in our hobbies, be it flying helicopters, quads, aeroplanes or racing cars and buggies. We love our jobs - who wouldn't enjoy working with these big boys toys all day everyday!

In the spring of 2013 we moved from our site at Maidstone to our new purpose built store in Sittingbourne where we have been able to grow and expand our offerings to you in a bright and welcoming store. And, in 2019 we nearly doubled the actual shop floor space to bring you even more products and also to allow us to launch the Sittingbourne Lego Store.

The business owner is an arrogant patronising condescending man. I ordered online because the price was reasonable and the products were not showing out of stock. After having no communication from the business about dispatch etc (the 4th day after ordering) I called them for an update. I was then told that I had called the shop and not the mail order outlet. Silly ol' me called the number on the order.... After ascertaining that this was in fact the same group of businesses and that I was in fact talking to the business owner, I asked if my products had been dispatched. His reply was "I have no idea, that's for the mail order team and that they have now gone on Christmas leave. They are entitled to a holiday you know." At this point I requested him to cancel my order and refund me the money, to which he refused, claiming that he couldn't do that because that was for the mail order team who operated from a unit a few doors down from the shop he was in and they were on holiday. He then tried to tell me that "Mr Marks and Spencer" couldn't achieve such a feat within their organisation, "A shop cannot process an online order refund" he said. Now let me say this, I spent nearly 20 years in a very well known high street retailer, and it is easy to do if you are competent. So to sum it up, the owner is happy to pocket your cash from both sides of the business, yet is too lazy and above you to assist you, whilst refusing to accept that maybe there was a small hiccup in his not so well oiled machine. This has been my first and last shop here.

Wrong covering film sent ! It was in stock according to your web site I was sent Solartrim which was not suitable.not worth sending it back !

I ordered this item at the beginning of April and it never arrived. When I phoned to enquire I was told it was out of stock and there was a supply issue. I was not contacted to advise there was a problem and I was not offered a refund. I asked for a refund and this didn’t happen. Then when I was on holiday I received an automated email saying it has been shipped 2 months after my original order. The customer service here was very poor.

Model broke on the first go. Response was that we would have buy £5 model cement to fix it!! Not even sending it out to us. Appalling customer service, avoid buying.

Shows items in stock online, when you order the items you wait for the item to arrive and then notice that the money has been transferred back to your bank account. No emails or contact to say the items have been cancelled. The only good thing is I received my money back.

Ordered 4off items showing in stock only to receive an email saying no stock! Six phone calls an email get a part refund. Report to PayPal and seven days later I receive my money. Appalling service. Will never use again

Placed the order and it was acknowledged and paid for ..... 10 days later I received notification of a refund. No explanation, I'm assuming it wasn't really in stock.

My order was taken on line. After a week I chased it and found out this product hadn't been in stock for 6-12 months. I was told the warehouse team will have tried to make contact (they didn't). I checked my contact details were correct on the order (they were). I was refunded, but the disappointing thing was that communication was solely down to my actions.

I ordered a Scout cowl which was defective (it had been mounded inside out). The issue was not corrected so I have a cowl that a member of your staff suggested I should paint white. I know this is only a small item but it is clearly defective and should not be for me to rectify!

having ordered it on line paid for it as it was listed as in stock then i tried to cancel order as it was not available they said they have a blue one [i wanted black ] tried to cancel it as it took quiet a while to get replys was told too late the blue one had been dispatched

Ordered a part that was supposed to be warehouse stock and shipped within 3 working days only to be phoned a few days later and told it was on back order and would be about a month and a half before it would be delivered.

I placed an order with them, and then I've had a phone call from them saying thay the item that i bought is ot in stock untill two months time, asking me if I want to cancel or wait. I have told him I'll wait, only so that a week later i get a refund without any further contact.

I bought a prop off them when it didn’t arrive I phoned and was told it’s out of stock no email or call to tell me this beforehand but the refund was quick
