“Good selection of wines which are reasonably priced. Ordering is easy and product is delivered quickly and is very well packed to ensure that bottles arrive in good condition.”

“First time I used DrinksDirect, very impressed using the website, user friendly, will be using them again. Only gripe I have is that I received a text confirming delivery the next day from the courier company, then the day of delivery received another saying the order would not be delivered, no reason, and no information as to when it would turn up.”

“I used to have this as a youngster at Christmas, pretending that I was grown up, staggering around pretending to be drunk. I have also continued drinking this as it's benefits, are great and I still have that child like feeling of years gone by. The only problem is now it is hard to find, thank you Drinks Direct for filling an old mans memories with this wonderful product.”

“Only slight blot in the ointment was that the website did not allow me to do a credit card payment for some reason, so I had to do a bank transfer which, as an overseas client, is a nuisance. However, that aside, an excellent service, with good choice, good pricing, and good communication.”

“Placed my order at midday on Monday & the wine arrived before 10:00 the next morning, really well packed. Unfortunately, I did not like the wine at all but that is hardly the fault of Drinks Direct.”

“Great, quick service and delivery. Product very well priced even when adding on delivery charge. Only minor criticism is, we instructed product to be left in open garage, but courier had been instructed to obtain a signature from us. He had no record of instruction to leave in garage. As it happens, I was in.”

“As I live in Australia and the present was for some one in the uk, I don't really know if it was delivered on time or if they have received their present yet so can't comment on service. Web site good easy to understand & navigate around .”

“As above, but when I tried to phone the local Depot first thing, at about 0730, on the scheduled Delivery day to narrow down the Delivery window time of 10 hours between 0730 and 1730 it was impossible!!! I could have gone there to pick it up myself far quicker at 8 am and then had the rest f the day to do as I pleased. Another neighbour would not have had to take it in for me as my original neighbour had to go out at very short notice. If there could be either a morning OR afternoon delivery timescale for delivery that would have been much better. A TEN hour spread to wait in for a parcel is far too long, especially if you have to take time off work as well, and it then does not arrive until late in the day. A request: A morning OR afternoon delivery schedule please as I will possibly use your service again in the future.”

“This is the first website I have used that does not provide the facility of an alternative delivery address apart from being to say for example "leave at number xx if not in". This is not good enough.”

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to read of the delivery address issue you experienced. It is possible to specify a delivery address that is different to the invoice address. On the first checkout page you are prompted "Deliver to a Different Address?". If you click on the respective tick box, a tick appears. You are then prompted for a delivery address on a later checkout page. I apologise if this was in any way unclear and if it detracted from your experience of using the DrinksDirect.co.uk service. “Went on line searched the gear, selected the gear, ordered the gear, gear got delivered. Please remove the word "gear" and replace with "wine" A sensible selection, a sensible web page, a sensible order, a sensible delivery to me (for me at home) and to a friend 'up North'. Thank you”

“I bought this bottle of 30 year old Taylor's tawny port for my boyfriends 30th next month. Yet to taste it yet but it was delivered quickly, at a very reasonable price and looks in great condition. Overall very pleased and would definitely use the site again.”

“All I can say is that I was very impressed not only with the speed of the delivery but in the way the wine was packed also the very pleasant gentleman that delivered to the door. I will certainly use Drinks Direct again and definitely recommend them to my family and friends. Incidentally the wine we ordered was delicious !!!!. Look forward to ordering from you again. “I live in the US so use drinks direct for friends and family special occasions, birthday's etc. in the UK. The website is easy, they are responsive and keep me informed of my order progress. So far, very pleased with service!”
