About Crazy Color:

Crazy Color® was launched in 1977 in the midst of the punk rock explosion in Britain. In a time that anarchy and free expression ruled supreme, one hairstylist was growing tired of the same natural color palette. Renato Brunas was at the height of his hairdressing career and was set to push the boundaries of color even further when he developed a new range of rainbow shades. Thus Crazy Color® was born and over 40 years later our ethos is the same, we want you to express yourself unapologetically. In every iconic pink bottle is a color that is ready to turn heads. Don‘t be the trend make your own. Mix it your way to create a shade to match your style. Our range has expanded to 41 colors over the years and each decade gathers new fans. “I got the lavender colour and it turned out as a grey blue colour and I used a full bottle on my hair, I followed all directions properly too.”

Hi, thank you for your review we do appreciate it. Sorry, to hear that you have had a negative experience with our products and customer service. Purple does have undertones of blue and may have gone bluer due to any remaining color in your hair. All of our hair colors with the correct aftercare should last up to 8-12 washes.

“I’ve used this product before when I had lighter hair and again now with darker hair , the pictures of the brighter pink was when I had blonde hair , I absolutely love this colour I’d say it’s more pink than red in colour but pictures will probably help more”

“Don’t bother unless you have white blonde hair. Doesn’t show up at all and colour charts on website are wildly inaccurate.”

Hi, thank you for the review; we really appreciate it. We are sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience using our product and are disappointed with the result. For our semi-permanent hair dye, we do recommend lightening your hair to a level 9 or 10 (blonde) before application. The result may have also not been as advertised on our shade chart due to any remaining colour in the hair.

“Easy to apply but washes off straight away. Left it on for a lot longer than recommended time to see if that helped but washed off with just water. Wouldn't use again”

Hi, thank you so much for the review, we really appreciate it! Some of our recommended aftercare tips are to not wash your hair for 48hrs after dying. Use a good shampoo and conditioner when you do that's kind to colour. However, there is more information available on our website. Our Vibrant Colour Shampoo's help to preserve the vibrancy of colour however aftercare advice does need to be followed to prevent fading.

“Love the selection of colours, love even more that it’s vegan and cruelty free. But I wish the bleach kit came with a purple toner. I’ve coloured my own hair before but didn’t realise the pastel colours wouldn’t cover the yellow at all (I knew it would influence it but the pink came out way more orange than I expected) Perhaps a separate slightly more expensive bleach kit specifically for pastel colours that contains a purple toner?”

“I bleached my hair before applying the colour but left it a week in between, it’s such a gorgeous blue if you want a bright blue, I underestimated how blue it would go as I like a darker blue to this but it’s still a stunning colour I have so many compliments. Says semi permanent but I dyed mine in December and we’re in April and it’s still going strong minus my roots 😅😂”
