About Crazy Color:

Crazy Color® was launched in 1977 in the midst of the punk rock explosion in Britain. In a time that anarchy and free expression ruled supreme, one hairstylist was growing tired of the same natural color palette. Renato Brunas was at the height of his hairdressing career and was set to push the boundaries of color even further when he developed a new range of rainbow shades. Thus Crazy Color® was born and over 40 years later our ethos is the same, we want you to express yourself unapologetically. In every iconic pink bottle is a color that is ready to turn heads. Don‘t be the trend make your own. Mix it your way to create a shade to match your style. Our range has expanded to 41 colors over the years and each decade gathers new fans. “I was a little shocked how small the bottle was, and since I have very long hair, it only covered half my head. It was probably made clear in the info before I bought, I just thought there'd be more. As for colour, it was all pretty good but not sure how long it will last.”

“The stars are purely for Crazy Color only. I love your hair dye and I choose it over any other brand. Your website is also easy to use. However I can't get behind Evri/Hermes as a delivery service. All 3 of the delivery attempts were used because they couldn't deliver the parcel with no explanation. I was home each time and no one came so it wasn't because no one was in. It meant my parcel arrived later than I'd expected to be able to use the dye which was really disappointing. Not to mention how stressful it is that after 3 attempts you can't pick it up from anywhere yourself and there appears to be no information on how to retrieve the parcel after that. I don't know if you would consider using a more reliable delivery company such as Royal Mail? It would make the experience a lot less stressful. That's all, you as a company are great, delivery company absolutely not.”

“You have sent me this review request a week after I ordered but I am still waiting to receive my order. It did not arrive on time in the 2-3 working day time scale given for my salon appointment meaning I had to spend money on a cab to go buy more of this product from a different retailer in time for my appointment.”

“I do really love the products and have used them for a while i love how bright they are after application )only wish the vividness lasted longer) but on my last order took a week to be processed and only after prompting via email that i got no response and im still waiting on delivery too I appreciate we are all human and we make mistakes but a apology for the mistake wouldn't of gone amiss and some info back in my order before i was forced to go to the high street and sorce the brand in superdrug where it was £1 cheeper than online so perhaps thats the way forward for my future purchases”

Hi, thank you for the review; we really appreciate it. Our hair color with the correct aftercare should last up to 8-12 washes. Some of our recommended aftercare tips are to not wash your hair for 48hrs after dying. Use a good shampoo and conditioner when you do that's kind to color. We are sorry for the customer service you have received and the delay in the delivery of your order. We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused by the delay and that you had to buy an alternative due to this.

“I defo won’t be buying the bleaching kit again as it burned my hair and I haven’t used the hair dye yet but will after a few days”

Hi Kelly, thank you for the review; we really appreciate it. We are sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience using our bleaching kit. A strand test is recommended when using this product; to indicate the developing time required to achieve your desired result. Also, when you apply to a full head of hair after 20 minutes of developing a section should be checked every 10 minutes to assess progress. This will avoid over-processing your hair.

There are many factors that could have caused your hair to different than the picture advertised. For example, existing or previous color in the hair, porosity, and condition. However, we are glad that you didn't mind the blue shade you ended up with 🌈

“Ordered Violette dye and it is blue. Not even a hint of purple. Not really impressed.”

Hi Helen, thank you for the review; we really appreciate it. We are sorry that you have had a negative experience using Violette. We recommend lightening to a level 9 or 10 (blonde) before application to achieve rich violet hair. This will also ensure that there is no remaining color in the hair that may impact the result. There is also a digital shade chart available on our website on each product page for guidance on the color achievable.

“The order didn’t come yet I can t rate anything because the order didn’t arrive yet I order that to Portugal probably some mistakes are maide in this order”

“Ordering, delivery and application we're all straightforward and simple, and on day 1 I loved the result. However 3 days later after 1 wash (using the purple preserve shampoo), the purple colour has become very blue. Would review this product higher if it lasted longer. As it stands, the blue is fine, and I will simply apply more dye for "an occasion", but I would have liked a "semi-permanent" dye to have retained its colour for longer.”

“Second purchase - easy to use website and quick delivery. Sadly the colour ‘marshmallow’ didn’t work at all. I have very light colour hair but it didn’t have any effect at all. The Rebel UV one has worked at putting a pink shade in, albeit it was the shade I had expected with marshmallow. I sent an email 11 days ago to report this but as yet no reply.”

“I was impressed with the customer service, my dye showed up on time and the instructions were very clear. I used capri blue and, that said, if you’re going to put it on dark blonde/light brown level 8 hair be aware that it will turn more faded teal. I don’t hate it, and it’s given my hair the change it needed.”
