“Lights arrived in good condition and as described - we were a little uneasy at not seeing them prior to purchase, and the 25% penalty if we returned them because we weren’t to our satisfaction. Communication on despatch time and delivery date was poor”

Dear Bryan, We are grateful that you took the time out to leave us a review, and we’re so sorry to hear that your experience was not up to standards. We noted that you said communication was poor, we've looked into the order and it looks like we did send you an email on October 10th to confirm you were happy with the returns policy and wanting to go ahead with the order. We didn't get a response so we sent another email on the 13th. As we again didn't get a reply we went ahead and processed the order on the 15th, which is why your order was delivered after the estimated delivery date. The emails were sent to bryan48@live.co.uk , can you please check your email to see if these were received? This is not an excuse for the lack of communication, and we can only apologize. As you can see on other reviews, we are known for taking ownership and caring deeply about each and every review. “I placed my order on the 16th September only to receive an email on the 26th September reminding me about the ridiculous returns policy. I then requested they go ahead with the order despite this to receive no confirmation that the order is being processed. I have now been told that the order was processed on the 30th September. 2 weeks after I placed my order! Now I am having to wait 4-7 working days and I’m not sure whether that is for delivery or for something else?! This is going to severely delay my contractors, costing me money. If I could source these lights from somewhere else I would.”

Dear Hannah, Thank you for posting a review and we’re so sorry to hear that your experience was not up to standards. We have since contacted our Customer Services department who have advised us that you were contacted regarding your order on the following dates, apologies you didn't receive these. 4:47pm on 16th September - No reply from yourself. 3:20pm on 26th September - No reply from yourself. 3:23pm on 29th September - We emailed you and kindly received a reply when we were closed confirming you were happy to proceed with the returns policy and your order was then placed. We received your reply the next day which was 30th September and processed your order immediately on the 4-7 working day lead time advised on our website. Currently it has been 2 working days since we placed your order. However, we did request this to be dispatched to us from the supplier as soon as possible so we could then receive it, and in turn dispatch it to you on a next working day service. Please don't hesitate to contact us at info@cplights.com or speak to Customer Services directly by calling (0191) 440 11 11 Option 2 and quote your WEB order number where someone will be happy to assist you. “Fantastic service from start to finish. I ordered a Laura Ashley pendant light and wall light with cplights.com and the order was dispatched within 48 hours, they also recommended which bulbs i use which i found really helpful. Customer Service was excellent and returns policy clearly explained.”
