I ordered a white ceramic table with 4 chairs. From start to finish I was impressed. I was kept updated. Buying online without seeing what I'm buying for this amount of money was a big step for me. I was very nervous, even though the service was impressive I was still anxious. I now have my furniture and would not hesitate to purchase from here again if I need something in the future. A special mention for Carol for her professional and excellent communication. Thank you to all your team

Waited weeks longer than promised for table. No one contacted me. On enquiring told there were issues with quality. Then took longer than it should to get my money back. I would give 5 starts for inspecting and rejecting the table before sending out and 2 stars for communication.

I have a feeling I know which order this is related to, if I am correct there were some issues with your order. We had one of the tables you ordered in stock however it was not in the box therefore we did not want to send it out to you as receiving a table unboxed would not be a good experience and you agreed that you would rather wait for a new table. After a wait we did advise that we could deliver the table that was unboxed to you at a discounted price. You was sent a picture of the table unboxed, we were honest and upfront sending a picture of the table beforehand to demonstrate that there was a small flaw where the coating seemed to have not covered properly. This was sized less than a quarter of a 5 pence piece and you advised that you did not want to have this delivered. We did not try to deliver the table to you knowing there was a flaw regardless of how small it was ( you probably would not have really noticed it on receipt) which demonstrates that we stand by our word on only providing quality products. Regarding the refund, this will be looked into on our return.

I needed an extending table at pretty short notice and research showed that Briggs and Jones had what I wanted in stock. I used their online chat to ask if there was a possibility we could cut the standard 7days + delivery and achieve it in 4. The agent spoke to the courier, who confirmed they could deliver in my area by Saturday. I purchased and the product arrived on time. The table is fantastic. You only need to attach the legs as the extending table mechanism is one piece. It takes a little working out to adjust the extension for it to lie flat once extended, and it is VERY heavy, but it is worth it. Overall really really pleased with the table, the customer service, the courier, the communication. 5*

Impressive service and even more impressive furniture. My order was 7 weeks delayed, I was really peed about it to be honest and at that point they told me it would be delayed I was so angry I was going to write a 1 star review and I told them so. They explained to me "again" that the reason they were delaying my order is because they were not happy with the finish on one of the legs on my table. I decided to give them a chance and glad I did because my table looks fantastic. A definite 5 stars because not delivering my order in any old condition is appreciated and it was worth the wait. We got there in the end and I am a very happy customer that will for sure be back to order again when I start the living room. Thank you Briggs and Jones, calm and professional throughout when I was at my angriest.

I have ordered a dining table through this website (Briggs and Jones) site in December 2022, they have keep me waiting for 3 month making a same excuse that it’s due to custom clearance. After so many emails back and forth they agreed to pay my refund back. It’s more than a week and still no sign of refund in my account. Shall I wait bit more or speak to my lawyer to deal this so inconvenient and unprofessional business. Please think twice before you purchase anything from this website. Thanks

Nightmare of a company to deal with. Very slow replies to emails and nobody is ever available over the phone, the only time they call you is when you have an item in the basket and they nag you to place the order asap (which I found bizarre and intrusive way of using my personal information BEFORE the order was completed). The item they claimed to have in stock online 'was faulty' and promised to re-order it asap and send it 8 working days past the due delivery date, only to later tell me it wouldn't reach me until the end of April. I didn't believe them as I have contacted the UK supplier of the particular table and they said they are not delivering this particular model until mid-April. So had they not cancelled my order, I would be still waiting... Till May the earliest. They did offer a '£50 goodwill refund' which is a joke for the level of inconvenience this is causing. Also, the transaction is processed by a company called Chic Paradis... I start to believe Briggs and Jones has no items in stock and orders them on demand. Read Google and yelp reviews - spare yourself the disappointment, frustration and long weeks of eating dinner crunched on your sofa.

Love the website. The product selection of dining tables is excellent. Delivery of item was earlier than expected. Even though we encountered some issues with the assembly of the dining table Naomi in particular and Carol didn’t stop until it got sorted. And we are thrilled with our purchase.

I found them very helpful and informative. My display cabinet is beautiful and good quality. I had to wait two weeks longer than advised but they kept me informed and were easy to deal with.

So did have a rubbish time with this company to start with of not getting part of my furniture when expected and I did feel that I was given lots of excuses over a long period of time. However, they have refunded me and sorted everything out in the end and explained why the situation occurred in the first place. They had tried things in the background which unfortunately did not rectify the matter. They do have some lovely furniture . I would buy again but maybe not if I needed for a specific date if they didn’t have it already in stock.

Thank you Kim for leaving your review and we appreciate honest reviews. Yes this order has turned into a bit of a disaster. One element of your order ran smoothly and there was no issue. The second item yes, the manufacturer decided they did not want to produce that colour however we did come up with a solution and that was to custom spray an item to match the one you already have. Although it is a bit of a faff on our behalf these are the steps we would take to ensure that your order is completed successfully. In all our emails we have been courteous. I can see that all emails have been responded to. It is actually impossible for us to delete items from a thread. The only way a thread can be deleted is from your own computer. Any email threads would remain on your computer, we would not be able to retract an email you have already received. I agree that this has not been the best experience, had there not been an issue with the coffee table everything would be hunky dory. Since this review was placed we have had a telephone conversation which was a pleasant one and we look forward to your review being altered once the solution we agreed on the phone has been reached.

I ordered my furniture nearly 4months ago. I did not get my order or money. Customer service is poor. They ignored my emails and phone calls. Today I got the answer that my furniture did not pass quality checks and the manufacturer dies not want to produce more. I waited 4 months to hear it. I requested a refund. I hope I will not have to wait fot it next 4 months.

Thank you Mariusz for your review. You ordered two items from the same range at different times. One of them you received successfully and everything was fine. On the second item when checked we did not feel that the quality was good enough to send it out to you. The item that you have received you are very pleased with and this is how we want customers to feel when they receive their furniture. The second item would not have given you the same pleasure as the finish was below standard and it was on my suggestion that a refund on that item may be a better option because we were not moving forward with getting a replacement with the manufacturer. I am extremely disappointed to see you have left a low review as this does not reflect the item that you are delighted with.

Customer service was good The item came earlier than expected and was packaged well The description of the table was poor We were unable to see the table in the showroom which you need to when would have been an advantage although we did see a sample
