“I purchased a go pro 7 camera bundle. I was phoned from new york asking if i wanted to purchase a 4 hour battery as the original is only an hour, i asked SLR if it was a genuine go pro batery and they said " absolutely" when i recieved the battery it was a cheap generic go pro 5 batery that only give me 45 minutes and as of yet they are fobbing me off ,so i plan to keep these review sites fully updated on the progress of trading standards. Its ashame really as i own my own business and wouldnt treat any one of my customers like this . They are refusing to ring me and keep telling me to ring there premium number”

“Awaiting the response to a complaint about variation in the pricing and a total farce trying to arrange delivery. Goods eventually arrived in good order, but interested to see how SLR Hut deal with my complaint, and happy to review my assessment dependent on their response.”

“Good price, 5 days to arrive from USA and good customer service they liked getting in touch to make sure all was ok but I missed the calls found it difficult to get through to them by phone but they replied by email. Happy days”

“Great customer service and excellent delivery speed , how ever have seen the same item still being displayed as being £100 cheaper than I paid , I questioned it when I bought it and was told they’d had to put the price up — the price I paid was excellent but it still galls a little 😏”

“The Canon came very well wrapped up and an amazing deal to get all that came with it for such an amazing price.. I wouldn't pay the £20 for quick shipping again though as it seemed to take just as long as it would have had I not have paid the extra. But all in all an amazing price and service. They called to confirm the order tried to sell something extra but was not pushy when I said no thanks and over all I have had an amazing service and will be back.”

“Placed an order for a Nikon P900 on Saturday and received it (with a bundle) on the following Thursday. Everything arrived within the timescales given at time of purchase. Would recommend SLRHut to anyone.”

“This Canon 100-400 zoom lens arrived in double quick time. It was supplied in it's retail box which included all the advertised extras, unlike my previous lens purchase six weeks ago which came in an anonymous box with most accessories missing and gave me pause for thought before placing the new order. The lens works perfectly, as expected, and I am delighted with it. The 9 extra accessories, although costing 5GBP extra, are worth having just for the filter set. Only one niggle in that the sales inducements do need chasing up. The Spring Discount did not work and it has taken almost 3 months for the "free" 32GB memory card to arrive after much chasing.”

“Goods as described. Very fast delivery. All works as it should. Bit of a fiddle on the (supposed) free sd card. Like others thought it was a Uk company. However delivery was as fast or faster than some Uk ones. Ordered on a Wednesday , arrived the following Monday morning from USA.”

“Camera and accessories arrived as described. I initially believed it was a UK company, indicated by the co.uk website and UK phone number. I had to ring to confirm the online order, which was unusual, and spoke to a man with an American accent, but still no indication the company is based in USA. Only a concern if any returns are required in the future. Otherwise, a good shopping experience.”

“I bought a Canon EOS 80d camera. The price was excellent and it was delivered promptly. You have to ring a number in London to confirm the order and they try and sell you an extra battery. It says on the website before you ring that you will be given a 32GB sd card free when you ring. This did not happen and although I have contacted them through the website I have had no reply. They would have got 5 stars if not for this.”
