“Check pack sizes on multi packs of chocolate. Bought a multi pack of cadbury dairy milk bars for £1.35 same price as Tesco. Tesco bars were 6 chunks (134g) Poundland bars were only 4 chunks (108g). Rip off. Guy on check out was pleasant though.”

“I visited Bromley poundland to get something for myself there was a mismatch price and when i happened have a word with the manger she was so rude in answering me back it's so awaful when she replied rude to me, have some better people who can handle customer better, i am not happy in shopping again at Bromley poundland and most of there racks are empty”

“They have now decided to do stock take during working hours. Shutting the aisle so you cannot purchase anything. It’s happened twice at the Tottenham high road branch and the manager there is absolutely rude with no ounce of customer service. It’s a pity as the staff and security are lovely been lovely for years. That one bad apple reflects upon your branch”

“Staff spend more time outside smoking than actually working. Always overhear them talking behind other staff members backs. Not a good atmosphere.”

“Visited the Gosport store but don't think I'll be going there again. Seemed to be very short staffed...extremely long queue for the tills,only one person on the till, two members of staff shouting and screaming at the top of their voices at each other down one of the aisles. Cardboard and rubbish left on the floor down one aisle and the health and beauty aisle as well as the homewares aisle were just a mess,shelves were all mixed up and gaps all over the place where no-one has bothered to replenish stock. Think they need someone in there to sort it out before they lose alot of customers...I for one won't be shopping at poundland anymore because of this experience.”

“Won’t be going there again. Shelves with gaps in them. Could not get what I usually get from there. Cheaper now to use a supermarket. It should be re named Pound Search.”

“Terrible place Weston super mare..can you tell me why they allow me in with my tiny chihuahua in his sealed in pushchair in Cheltenham and tewkesbury brance but not in Weston...I was at self service till paying for my goods .this VERY rude girl came up to me and shouted at me..NO DOGS..allowed in here..She needs to learn some manners...”

“Bexhill branch. Overcharged on discounted items. Items shelf marked at a pound and charged more for at the checkout. Other items with unmarked prices charged greater than a pound. Disappointed. I shop here regularly and this seems to happen often now”

“Watch the prices, bought Jakemans cough sweets 1 bag for £1, used to be 3 for a £1 in some shops and 2 for £1 in many, there was only about half a dozen in bag - only self serve tills too and no receipt. Went across road to Superdrug found same ones, compared, they were 100g as opposed to Poundland's (63g) and only 65p. I bought them and marched back to Poundland demanding money back. Assistant refunded and agreed that their prices are no longer as competitive and some of the more traditionally expensive shops can be cheaper. Watch the prices as very few items a pound, maybe they should change their name...”

“POUNDLAND Dungannon Female staff member needs to learn some manners fast. Today I was in a Good Mood so she was lucky. I filled the basic and when I got to counter ask if I wanted a Bag & I said yes .She said it would be '£1 I said s plastic bag is fine. Ssid there was none and started moaninv its only £1 ( This is the Poundland BAG CON .Dont offer plastic bag as they make these nasty bags for 4p and get their stores to push the sale of them for £1) J just said forget it and left the basic with over £30 worth off items on the counter. This girl was not local and her English wasnt that good.But MANNERs cost nothing. Show some Respect. Looks like she didnt like a job. Some local girl would be more greatful.”

“I went to poundland in Bromley today. I was looking at a radio but couldn't figure out the battery scenaro, but Faterna figured it out for me she was so helpful, then my money wouldn't go in the machine just like that Faterna was cheerful to help me, WELL DONE”

“Still awaiting a refund for goods I didn't purchase. I used a faulty self service machine that took my money and would like my money back in full. Terrible outcome. Disappointed. Waited 30 minutes standing with my walking stick for supervisor and wasn't even offered a chair, the excuse given is ludicrous. Shame on poundland Surrey Quays and the customer services Sarah investigating. Disgusted.”

“Used pitsea basildon store today No cashiers on till Used self scanners had to call assistant twice who quite frankly did not seem to want to be there was more interested in talking to other members of staff Not everybody wants to or is able to use self scan tills”

“I brought a charger a few weeks ago it breaks in a week. I now buy another charger and when I put it in it snapped. Terrible quality do NOT BUY!!!”

“Today I had the most wonderful service from Vikki at longbridge Birmingham. We had heard her going above and beyond to another customer and the same to myself. Always smiling. Clearly cares about the service she gives. I would like this wonderful lady to be recognised and commended on the service she gives. Not just today but any day she is there. Thank you Vikki you made our day. Vikki was so polite to me and my Nan and she is always interacting with the customers and her demeanour is lovely, she really is a credit to the store.”

“Daughters comforter was handed in and was binned within 24hours. I couldn't get it back when I tried to retrieve it and was lied to several times about them not having. Not an ounce of common sense in the staff.”

“I visited the St Helen's store today to return an item. Unfortunately I did not have a receipt. I have to say the staff could not have been more helpful. After asking me some information about my purchase they were able to trace it and gave me a refund. I felt I had excellent customer service. Thank You.”
