I so wish I had looked at reviews before buying. I’m having to wait 2 weeks for products that were promised within 4 days. Bitterly disappointed

Kept a returned item and the money. Making me beg for money for months. Dishonest and unreliable. Don’t buy anything off them they seem to be like cowboys. What they advertise is not always what they send out and they promise none existent accessories which never arrive!!!!

POOR AND UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT I wish to give them negative ratings if allowed. Worst customer-oriented place. The long pending issue, and hundreds of follow and no one from management even blinks.. The management team keeps themselves away from facing issues or maybe all on long holidays. Highly Unprofessional -

Don’t order online am awaiting for my refund for over 2 months!! And this is not the first time . The first time I returned the item and awaiting for refund for over 3 months I sent so many email but worst customers service. The order was nearly 2.5k and that for a small business are lots money

Bought Gastronorm Pan 6 months later rusty, customer service very lacking, says must be using salt water! having used pans like these for 40 years never had any rust, poor quality and Misbets not interested. Customer service very poor.

I made an order worth 1k+, agreeing to be delivered on a specific day and time (paying an extra for this). 2 days earlier, they sent a message saying that they were going to deliver the same day. I replied (and called) saying that no one was at the restaurant. They left the goods unattended in front of the door, declaring that Rob (no one of us is called Rob) received them. When I complained about it, they blamed the delivery company and they offered me £20 back. I could have said that I never received it, costing them the whole amount, but I am an honest person. Thanks, I am not a beggar. Last time I will ever buy from them and I will put all my effort to spread the word of a restauranteur with 35+ years of experience and a world of connections... Well done!

Their back up is woeful. A grill not even one year old is running into their 4th week to resolve. Caveat emptor How are these people still in business? Never again !

ordered same fridge twice over 2 months still no order these guys have got you running around in circles multiple phone calls to get no were keep blaming he bank ,,they also claim to have stock that they dont customer service just hung up on me,,there not worth ordering with them choose another company save ourself the hassle 2 full months wasted and add the time online trying to sort it all out there just did.nt care (buyers beware )

We ordered a fridge last Wednesday and it finally arrived yesterday (Monday). Left it for 12 hours as instructed and turned it on late last night. This morning we found it was running hot rather than cold. Rang for an engineer really early this morning. Waited and waited for a response. Chased twice and finally told can't get an engineer out yet - maybe tomorrow. So I asked for a replacement fridge and was told they would have to raise a new order and I would have to wait days!!!! Apparently because I ordered the fridge last week and am only just letting them know now it doesn't work we are not entitled to a replacement and the fact that they are offering one means they are going over and above.

Avoid buying any large electrical items from this lot like the plague. Once they have your money they really don't give a damn. So purchased about £3500 of large items being a cooker, tall Polar Fridge and Polar Freezer, items arrived, kerbside delivery which is fine, got 3 lads to help lift in and site. Fridge fine. Freezer had a dent so raised that with Nisbet's, got offered £30 of vouchers?? Or they would swap. Bear on mind none of this is dealt with by Nisbet's they use a third party support team. Then the freezer did not work as the control panel had come loose. The support firm said they would send an engineer out to fix it. They then called and said they could not get the control unit till April was it ok to wait, that's 4 months with no freezer, guess what we said no. So they said they will swap but only kerbside, I did say why should I have to get 3 people back twice to remove it and site the replacement and that they should do that. Not a service they offered they said. Well they then said they do but I have to pay. So it is a service they can offer. Our sparky fixed the controller. Told the service firm to send over the vouchers so we can buy a pot. Oh and to top it all off, Nisbets sell the control (as do about 1000 other firms as its a standard Dixell unit) and had them in stock!! Would be funny if it were not so much money involved.

My order would be delivered in 48 hours flash sale. Instead, in 48 hours they emailed me "sorry for delay your order will take another 48 hours". But another 48 working hours passed without my order or a new joke email to wait another 48 hours. I really don't know guys how you're still in trading, but I don't believe it will take long before you close.

omg I work for 2 charities and ordered from these and they ran a credit check on me without me seeing anywhere on their site that they would. How rude when I had paid for the little things I had ordered. I got a lovely email off their customer services that couldn't have been nicer but buyer beware.

As a whole i believe nisbets to be a good company however they need to review their relationship with their couriers. I use to spend a lot of money with them however last Thursday i ordered a wine fridge and a beer chiller for next day delivery as needed for an event on Saturday. The wine fridge arrived as promised but not the chiller, i was told it would be definitely be with us on Saturday between 8 and 12. at 12.30 i called to chase and was told it was on route by 4pm i called again to be told they cannot contact their couriers on weekends so couldn't give me any more info, had i known earlier i could gave tried to source locally as it left us in a right pickle. On Monday i called and they informed me the courier couldn't fit in on his van so i was told porkies by them all weekend. i cancelled my order as will not pay for this kind of poor service, i ended up by locally for a better price and far more reliable service. I cant believe a company the size of nisbets puts themselves in this predicament with their couriers. The zist of this is if you do buy from them do not order later than Wednesday to have a chance of it arriving on time and certainly don't order on Friday to avoid the massive inconvenience we did!!!
