ALL BULBS TO BE FITTED BY QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN Apparently made.com customers are incapable and have money to waste. We bought 2 globe light fittings. Fitted the bulbs but 1 was the wrong colour. Tried to remove it, it is stuck. Asked for help and that is what we were told! All the other bulbs can be removed and replaced. Will not be using made.com again

If there was a zero star rating I'd still say this was too high for the absolutely shocking customer service I'm experiencing. Having ordered a sofa in August I was told it would be here early December - one delay later (which is fair enough), I'm told it would be dispatched on 20th December - when I chased it I was told there was a delay at the warehouse - and was asked if I want to cancel the order? Of course not, I just wanted to know where it is. Since then I've sent four follow up emails and not one has been replied to. I only wish I'd see this site before shelling out a load of cash for an appalling experience - I only hope when (and if) it arrives it's worth the wait.. Will never use again.

So we have had 2 experiences with Made.com both times terrible awful appalling products and customer service to match. The first we bought a £1899 corner sofa. The sofa to be fair looked amazing, but was extremely uncomfortable. It reminded us very much of a sofa you would sit on in a doctors surgery or something similar. After about 6 months the seat fabric started to bauble. Everywhere on every seat. Also the foam on the seat pads started sinking where you would sit. I complained and surprisingly was told no problem return it for a full refund, so we initiated the return and went out to another supplier to buy a new sofa, which we did in full. As we didn’t want to wait until the refund came through as there was a 4 week delivery time on the new sofa. When arranging collection of the faulty sofa they told us they had made a mistake and will send a sofa repair man out, only after fighting a lot with proof via e mail they had offered a full refund, and the threat of taking them to court did they actually refund the money and collect the sofa. Now stupidly for my sins, I then went onto buy 3 LED over kitchen island lights as they were a good price and was just what I was looking for. On their add they stated no more changing lightbulbs, a light that lasts far longer than any light bulb and 20,000 hours lighting time. I had 3 separate holes specially wired into my ceiling to fit these lights which we did 20 months ago. Yesterday one of these lights stopped working. I assumed with the bold statements of how long they last that the warranty would match the bold statements, and I would get a replacement light at the least plus the money to pay for an electrician to re fit due to their broken un fit for purpose goods. After all all reputable companies do this such as John Lewis and Next. I was extremely upset and angry to find out the warranty is in fact 1 year, despite the blatant claims of these LED lights lasting a long time. I aired my concerns about having 3 lights with one that doesn’t work and I would have to replace all 3 if they wouldn’t offer me a replacement they said they didn’t have in stock and tough. When I asked for a copy of the advertised product and warranty they sent me a link to their French website , to show the product. Everything was in French, which I do not speak so I had no idea what it says. I then e mailed to be told you can make a complaint but my manager won’t speak to you and if they do it will be at least 2 weeks. I have scoured the website for details of warranties on lighting which I could find none. I yet again asked for their copy via e mail of the warranty and product advertisement as it no longer shows on my order and am yet to receive a response. I am furious that I now have 2 working lights and 1 non working light, so to have matching lights in my new kitchen I will have to pay for 3 new light to match and put an electrician to fit 3 lights when these lights should , by the claims on mades website last for years. If I do not have this resolved to try source me a matching light (which is available on their French website according to the agent who sent me the link but I couldn’t read what it said as I do not speak French) or replace all 3 lights I will be reporting to trading standards for items mis described , not fit for purpose and that the retailer has breached my statutory rights.

I am a returning customer of this company. I purchased the single Haru sofa bed in antique velvet which was delivered today. The sofa bed velvet is very soft and just the perfect size for the conservatory. Very easy to unfold as bed and then fold back into sofa. Excellent company

Bought two 'solid mango wood' office desks in March. Within a few weeks noticed colour lifting and marks appearing. Contacted Made with photos questioning the quality. Got told it was clearly my fault!! 6 months on and these expensive desks now look horrendous. Poor quality materials and mis-selling as clearly stained wood. Service atrocious. Been a loyal customer of made for years, furnished 3 houses with them spending tens of thousands. Literally. Will never use again.

I am so appalled with this company. It had taken over £1000 from my account and not yet arranged any delivery / no idea when it will be with me. I can’t speak to anyone as they’ve disabled the phone lines and instead have to put up with excuses about working from hone. I’m not sure how companies like this can survive. I would never use them again.

Terrible customer assistance, unable to help you resolve or obtain information regarding deliveries. They promise to deliver on one date and deliver one to two months later. But the worst is that they don't even warn you, simply update the despatch date. don't use Made.com. Had to cancel several orders, and ended up buying from somewhere else.

The 2 day dispatch promise convinced me to buy. 2 weeks later, no dispatch so I cancelled and requested a refund. 2 days after they dispatched part of order. 2 weeks later no refund so I have raised a claim against them. Their webchat support is overwhelmed. 50% of their agents try to help but acknowledge their systems and procedures are broken. Taking payments prior to dispatch is a sign of a poorly setup online business or one desperate for cash.

Never again! I’ve accepted delays in the past. But I am waiting now 4 months and counting for a couch that I ordered for a specific purpose. It was meant to be 8-10 weeks. Now I will be leaving Germany and it still has not been delivered. Constant delays and completely inadequate, rude and unhelpful customer service. I was a loyal customer before, now I will never again purchase from this company and advise everyone else to avoid at all costs!

I ordered some cushions from Made, the delivery driver from Hermes left the cushions in a bin which was emptied before I could retrieve them. I contacted Made to make them aware I would want a replacement or refund, they said they wouldn’t do this because it’s a matter for the police. I’m not sure what crime they thought had been committed but their delivery driver leaving a parcel in a bin certainly isn’t one, they have no interest in resolving the matter and take weeks at a time to respond with blunt emails that keep referring to a non-existent crime being committed, a shocking company to deal with

Avoid! The delivery dates are rubbish and just had the rudest delivery men. I was told they would deliver to the first floor but they refused and then I received a load of abuse for trying to state that this is what made.com promises. What is the problem with this company!

Bought an expensive sofa from them and within 12 months the foam was misshapen and screws were putting it off the cheap chipboard. Woefully overpriced for the poor quality that it is.

Tried all ways of communication with the company, only the live support works and you still have to wait in the queue for hours until you reach an agent (if you are lucky and you don't get disconnected for no apparent reason). The agents are not particularly friendly and the delays are horrible.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Delivery dates on website are a complete fabrication. 8 month delivery delay with no email communication. Trying to cancel and obtain a refund is near impossible. They don't answer email and attempting contact by live chat can occupy many your evenings with no success. And that's before they significantly reduce the price of the item on the website whilst you are waiting for delivery.

I hope you read this on time (so before you make your order). I didnt and I am waiting for my sofa since two months. Terrible company. Every time when you reach out to customer service you have to give all the details and you always get the same reaction. 'problem at our warehouse' 'as soon as possbile' blablabla. Made.com if you read this, buy a proper CRM system, work on you ERP system and invest less in your marketing because your marketing versus delivery products are miles away from each other.

Horrible service ! Ordered a mirror , after 2 months of weekly writing to customer service and being told the item was dispatched and on it's way On weekly basis . The item Never arrived and had to cancel it after two months! By far the worst online shopping experience ever ! Will never use them again and Do not recommend it to anyone ! It's a big Scam to keep customers money for 2-3 months and then refund due to non delivery!

AVOID I’m devastated I didn’t read these reviews before placing my order - I have broken chest of drawers and over 3 weeks worth of WhatsApp/live chat and emails still haven’t spoken to someone on the phone just get an automated email offering a partial refund of £45 or a £90 voucher - useless when all I want is the drawers I ordered. Will not be ordering again.

Faulty product with Bed. NO Customer service number for company, is that even legal? Live Chat disabled on Website. No response from WhatsApp they get you to write on. Pay with Paypal Credit if you can for a chance to raise a complaint as Made.com do not let you raise complaints. Complaints does not even exist when searching in FAQs. That say's it all.

Don’t be fooled into ordering anything advertised as “express delivery” or anything that says “in stock” it’s all lies. Made.com are a bunch of crooks, scamming money out of people. Shame on the lot of you. Disgusting company.
