Awful customer care. Company sent the wrong item and then refused to collect it despite the fact the driver had only just left when I realised their error. I advised I could not store the goods due to the size of them . I was told I would be charged double if I refused to store them until they could conveniently arrange collection. Customer care have not responded for over 24 hours despite assurances they would. My experience to date has been that the staff are impudent and unhelpful. I am shocked and dismayed and will be contacting trading standards.

Shame I couldn’t leave 0 stars. Ordered an item, completely wrong item arrived, they posted the correct item, I sent wrong item back and paid for delivery as no returns label was sent. I then asked to be reimbursed for the postage and was told that this was not possible as I didn’t use their returns label (which they’d not attached). I decided not to give any business to them. I sent the correct item back as not suitable and they refunded all but £10. As a result of their own mistake I’m down £23. Absolutely no sense of customer service. Never again.

Went here as was told they offer a high standard than other sites. Paid just under £3000 for a sofa set and yesterday the 3 seater snapped in the middle. The wood frame is completely broken. There are only 2 of us, both a regular weight, most nights I sit on the 3 seater on my own so god knows what would happen if 3 larger people sat on it. Really not fit for purpose!

Bought two sofas from them. Within a couple of years the legs on both had collapsed. Company sent us replacement legs, but it has happened again. Fabric also has not worn well, they look very old and tatty, but only a few years old. Poorly designed and badly made. Won’t buy from them again, despite how tempting everything looks on the website.

Poor products and poor customer service at made.com. Received a sofa bed with thousands of five star reviews. It is so uncomfortable, it cannot be used as a bed, even with a 4 inch mattress topper. Made.com will take it back but only if I pay them £44 delivery. The item is not fit for purpose. I query how made.com items receive so many 5* reviews when the reality is clearly quite different.

We bought a table and chairs from them, and in under 5 years a chair collapsed under me, even worse i was holding a baby at the time. The table is rarely used and we are of normal weights. When I talked to Made about it they didn't think that I should expect a chair to last that long. “Great design and quality” what a joke.

I waited 3 months for my order, a Meera Corner Garden sofa and table set, and only one half of the sofa arrived and 2 tables (the set comes with 1 table). They were very keen to get wrong part back and eventually blamed the courier company and "found" the missing part which arrived and was the wrong part of the sofa so we now have 2 right hand sides of the sofa and no left hand side! Customer Service are hopeless and are not at all interested. They suggest we can order another set which takes 8-10 weeks - imagine if we did that and had the same problem while the summer slips by......unbelievable, and no phone number to speak to anyone.

Having always found their products to be good, I have recently had a change of mind! We received three Elsden sideboards, all of which had multiple flaws. The worst was drawers and cupboards having come off their fixings. Elsewhere are cracks and bits that don't line up. They were charging £550 for this shoddy junk! Yes, the design is fabulous, but that's where any hint of quality stops. Shoddy, flimsy and over priced. I will never buy from them again, however good the item may look on the website.

I bought a bread bin from Made.com which I had to wait 3 months for. It wasn't cheap but I didn't mind the wait or price because it looked good quality. It was delayed by another month and on arrival was shoddy quality and damaged. In response to my complaint, they offered me £5 (which might cover the cost of some good wood glue) or full refund but no replacement. After waiting 4 months for a bread bin, I'm having to keep the shoddy thing. I would not recommend buying from this company!

Awful. Wrong order delivered after waiting 6 weeks! Then out of stock. Product that arrived was green and mouldy. Will never order again.

Terrible company. SAVE YOURSELF HASSLE AND DISAPPOINTMENT - GO ELSEWHERE Such a slippery and dishonest company. I urge you to steer clear. A dining table developed patches on its veneered surface within a month of light use. A furniture inspector came, apparently independent but very likely to be paid bonuses on 'successful' findings for the company. Even he said that, in the circumstances, he felt sure that Made would offer a remedy. Made denied any manufacturing fault and washed their hands. After contacting the new CEO, they 'escalated' to another inspector who actually never even came out and backed them up, surprise surprise. They refuse to offer a repair or any solution. I'm disabled, work full time and am a carer so I am heavily dependent on excellent customer service. This fell so far short that I am committed to warning others. The CEO ignored my follow on emails. Doesn't bode well for her leadership in her new role. Note that their replies to negative reviews never offer a constructive solution, just waffle about forwarding the information or no fault being found. Trust me, John Lewis would have replaced this in a heartbeat. Save yourself the hassle and don't buy from Made.

If I could give them a lower rating, then I would. Avoid this brand if you expect anything to be delivered or even basic levels of customer service.

Literally the worst service EVER. If you want to cancel your order, even if the order has not been sent yet, you still have to pay 17€ for sending the order back. And this for something as small and light as a blanket... UNBELIEVABLE Customer service was also useless and only kept repeating their company policy.

I have an “unfit for purpose” set of Reisa sofas from Made. Their customer services online chat is unhelpful and obstructive, not knowing what their Formal Complaints procedure is, which is illegal! I wondered if anyone else has any experience of similar? In less than 12 months the cushions of the seating pads are completely crushed! I’ve described this to MADE .com as “like sitting on the floor”. Their furniture repair company unfairly said it’s due to usual wear and tear and that we shouldn’t sit in the same places on the sofas daily!!! Any “repair” they make will be exactly the same as it already is, with the cushions not reforming after sitting. The fault is in the design and was present from day one. Nowhere on MADE’s website is mention of a weight restriction for its sofa customers, nor does it mention not sitting in the same places!!! Let me know your thoughts please as I’m considering the Small Claims Court?

Really poor customer service response! Bought the Motti sofa bed just 6yrs ago & due to a design fault (soldered joint at a crucial weight bearing point at the leg/foot joint which has finally failed) the sofa has been rendered irreparable & unusable. MADE’s response is basically ‘tough luck’ since they only introduced the 10yr guarantee for items purchased since 2019 (they sofa is still being sold today btw). I would never have purchased had I realised that there was not any form of guarantee at that time against such a design fault & not due to customer misuse - usually a given from any other reputable company for a big ticket item & presumably why they needed to introduce in 2019. Not even an offer of a discount for a replacement - just reposting their terms & conditions to absolve themselves of any responsibility despite it being a design fault on their part!! I would warn any potential customers against purchasing this particular sofa, 10yr guarantee or not, since it is likely to fail again unless the design has been changed. I have purchased other items from MADE in the past but most certainly will not be buying anything again due to this poor attitude to their customers. 😡

I bought a crockery set of 12 dinner plates, side plates and bowls. The quality of these were very poor and the plates crumbled around the rim and chipped at the slightest touch. The glaze also came off the bowls showing scrapes within weeks. I will now need to buy an entirely new set within 6 months of purchase. Made will not engage with us on this though as replacements need to be within one month of purchase, which is way too short a period for a set costing this much. I would not buy from them again due to this quality and poor customer service.
