“Recently sent my Mephisto shoes to be renovated. Payment was taken straight away. After 3 months of not hearing anything and not replying to emails or phone calls, we finally informed that the shoes had been returned with no identification labels on them. This resulted in further delay. For £150 all that was done was a new sole (which did not need replacing) and a new pair of laces. The body of the shoe which needed renovating had not been touched. Absolute waste of money. Do not deal with these people!”
“Ordered 2 pairs of different sized shepherd slippers totalling £100. One pair fit, the other didn’t so I returned asking for larger size. No issue with initial order, returns proces, or replacement for the too small pair. Quick delivery and easy exchange process. Only reason getting 4* rather than 5* is the total lack of communication - I emailed twice about delivery times and returns process and got no response. Otherwise - all good.”

“In the last couple of months I have bought a pair of Mephisto shoes from Footwear 4 You and, through them, had my pair of Mephisto walking shoes sent back to the manufacturer for refurbishment.
I found the staff member extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Things happened precisely as he said they would. I would use Footwear 4 You again.”
“Please do not deal with this company. Check the bad reviews on Google reviews. Exactly what the reviewers describe is what has happened to me. This company knows they don’t have stock of the item you have ordered but they take your money anyway. I ordered a pair of Mephisto shoes for £162, Footwear4you took my money the day after I placed the order and on the same day sent me an email with an update dated 10 October and saying that they are short on stock and experiencing delays in fulfilling orders. So they knew they would not be able to send my order, why then did they take my money? I called them a few days later to get an update, they told me they were having stock issues and offered me an alternative shoe. I declined and asked them to cancel the order. They agreed to refund my money which they had already taken. The refund has still not been processed and it’s now almost two weeks later. They don’t respond to emails and they don’t answer calls. They phone diverts to an answering machine and they don’t call you back. I regard their behaviour as grossly dishonest and even fraudulent. I’m now going through PayPal get my £162 back.”
