We visit our local Coop almost every day and enjoy so many of their member deals. However, we were extremely disappointed with their curry meal this week. We tend to make our own but occasionally buy a ready-made curry from various supermarkets. We expected the Coop's to be better than those of Tesco and Sainsbury - it was not. We bought the Tikka Masala and Rogan Josh. Our conclusion - gloopy and the worst supermarket curry we have had! Not the Friday night treat we had expected. Not sure what their food buyers were thinking. The potatoes in the Bombay Potatoes side dish were only just cooked - much firmer than you expect! The naan bread was fine.

I tried to reach out to customer service with a few questions but got the runaround from two different employees I requested a call back and got more frustrated with them when they wanted more information how about giving me a call back as you said you would. I will never shop at any co-op store again

Thai chicken curry with jasmine rice. Two very small pieces of chicken, and that was it! The rice was ok. Very disappointing

But in something hard and sharp & discovered it was a stone in my bag of Coop crisps . Despite over a period iof months of me writing to them, they are refusing to answer my emails & also a letter sent to their HQ by Royal Mail . They are impolite & don’t deserve business .

Packing, 3 orders on the trott now a member of staff has forgot an item or substituted with an item half the price, shocking, are staff walking around with their eyes shut, not Deliveroos fault although I was told by a member of staff it was nothing to do with them and to contact Deliveroo!

The Coop own food brands are over priced and tasteless ! Unfortunately it the only store within 10 miles of another supermarket and time and time again, even after buying the “Irresistible “ three bites and I’m done ! Feel robbed and terribly disappointed by the poor quality. Pizza I put at the top of the disgusting taste pile, followed by cakes and muffins packaged in posh little boxes describing something delicious inside . What you get is x2 dried out , hard almost stale tasting chocolate muffins ? One bite is enough to check the sell by date but you certainly don’t want another bite ! Such inflated prices for such horrible food ? Even a punnet of raspberries opened one day are covered in fuzz the next ? The in store bakery has a variety of pastries that are at children’s reach so , child picking their nose one minute and hands all over the cinnamon rolls next ? It’s cheaper to shop in Waitrose or M&S the honest because at least I’m not throwing the shopping out or up the next day . So now I try to avoid at all costs - the tiny little one stop shop has more variety, the basics , such as bread milk and eggs so much cheaper and these coop’s seem to be placed in areas where there are many older people, who don’t have an opinion or the money to eat well from the COOP ? They really need to examine their products- sandwiches are even disgusting! A simple tuna and sweetcorn sandwich tastes like tuna paste mixed with mayo - my dustbin of a dog refused that one , . Think you owe it to the communities you serve to have good quality food , especially at the prices you charge !

I live in a flat, but the staircase is external so no need to come indoors, just have orders put on my doorstep. Except, there always seems to be an issue with this when I order from coop. I have had delivery drivers leave it in the courtyard, or argue with me about not wanting to bring the order to me. It's a fairly short flight of stairs and I have a chronic condition which means I would struggle to cary it. The drivers always seem disgruntled, rushed, rude, struggle to find me, or leave the order at the wrong door, or at the foot of the stair, or even in the street nowhere near my door! Items always seem to have a short date, especially meat, which can be inconvenient.

Twice over the past week my online shop was not delivered, with no explanation. No one ever answers the phone when I called the store. On other occasions items were missing, a wine bottle (screw top) had been opened, a substitute item was unsuitable, the wrong order was delivered... the list goes on. Some of the delivery guys are great but others are not

Co op boast under 2 hour delivery on website, just pick a 2 hour slot. 0.99 is mentioned, but I was charged £1.99. Minimum delivery £15. Received email at 3.35pm to say my order was being picked, but 1 item not in stock. O..kay. At 6.15, when order nowhere to be seen, I contacted customer service, to be told that my order hadn't been assigned a driver and that the 2 hour window was a guideline, not set in stone as there might not be drivers available. Huh?? So he offered to manually request a driver in the hope that one would accept the job. No guarantees, though. Here's the thing. Had I ordered on JustEat, the delivery time would have been 30-45 minutes. No minimum order, and orders over £15. delivered free of charge. So, my advice would be not to use the Co-op's own 'delivery service', if you actually expect your items to reach you eventually. Never again.

We hope that this scam stops and the authorities have a better handle on things. I have been cheated multiple times, but I was able to get my money back after receiving advice from "Kezook com" for weeks. I would be pleased to help because I had a similar experience.

Ordered from local co op online.. As disabled person needed to to get my food.. The wrong order was delivered.. never got my order...then they told me I the shop can't deliver me a new order.. And they charged me for the order.. Couldn't afford to buy elsewhere as Co op told me it would take up to 5 days to get my money back. Took ages to get through to process the issue too.. Never use co op online shop again...

Hi guys, I’ve just eaten a CO-OP fish pie , my thoughts are ……. It was terrible not only made with cheap pollock, hardly any, it had no flavour, no sauce at £3.80 it’s very poor quality. Sorry hate leaving bad reviews but it’s a not so cheap nasty meal for one☹️

Just bought 2 co op microwave meals priced at £3.55p each or 2 for 6 quid. Both sweet n sour chicken and Chinese chicken curry were absolutely terrible. Both had the tinyest bit of rice and the sauces were both so watery I had to grab a spoon .Can remember not that long ago you could buy 2 for 4 quid and you got 50 grams more plus you didn't need a spoon for the watery sauce. Terrible won't be buying again . Shame on you co op .

I placed this order and it never arrived. I made two phone calls to chase it up and requested cancellation online as advised The order still has not been refunded. I had to place the order with another supermarket, therefore now am short of money. I have disabilities as do my children therefore this service is invaluable to me. I have no idea if or when the refund will happen

Absolutely disgusting that 2 thieves can just walk in Southsea store and Rob them. Filling up their bags with what ever they want and nobody did anything. I feel sorry for the staff, put electic doors on to let customers in, why should I pay high prices because of them
