“My mother (who is elderly) gets these meals delivered. The brochures look amazing, so last night I decided to have a break from cooking and I heated up a medium-sized Irish stew. I was very disappointed with a few tiny bits of meat, the bulk of the meal being cheap veg. The only positives were the flavour of the stew was reasonably nice and the meat was tender and easy to chew. In my opinion, the protein and fat content of the meal wasn't adequate enough to be nutritious. I think the meals are very expensive for what you get.”

“The meals are too expensive for what you get! The mash is cheap to make but you only get a tablespoon of it and as for the beef it’s like playing hunt the thimble and when you do it’s chewy and the vegetables are watery ! The best meals are the soups and puddings are ok”

“I am in the US and wanted to send gift vouchers to a friend in Norfolk. It was quick and easy to order online. There was a delivery snafu (not Wiltshire’s fault) and when I alerted Wiltshires they quickly re-issued the vouchers with no hassle at all. My friend enjoyed the meals she was able to get from Wiltshires. Highly recommend.”

“Poor customer service - took 2 payments for meals - one after they were delivered because they ‘ forgot to charge ‘ - difficult to resolve - account cancelled - if you use this company keep an eye on your payments”

“You dont have to spend a fortune, approx £20 before you order. Another company charges £40 per order. Both are giving value for money & lovely meals but sometimes people can't always afford the higher value at one time.”

“Really bad customer service they took two payments for one order. I have contacted them several times but passed from pillar to post. Worst thing is a lot of elderly vulnerable people use this company and wouldn't notice or question bank statements. An absolute disgusting company taking advantage off customers.”

“I have experienced the same things where wiltshire take 2 payments for one order .you try get in touch with managerof the whitstable branch and he will not talk to you my order cost £30.16 But they took £54-82 but no response from manager.so please be careful when dealing with them as you will not receive any response”

“I am a vegetarian and find that I have a reasonable choice from your normal selection, but am totally disgusted to find that from all MAIN MEALS offered in your Christmas catalogue, there is only ONE VEGETARIAN OPTION! We eat at Christmas too! You have a wide variety of options for gluten free customers Vegetarianism is widespread and I expected far better service from you! Whilst I’m in complaining mode, I trust you have decided to follow the requirements for CUMBERLAND sausage (80%+ minced or rough cut meat) instead of the unbelievable concoction yours contained when I checked some months ago! The Customer Service we receive is second to none! Totally reliable! Your prices are reasonable, your service convenient. We did not think to return the sausages; we threw them away! We have been customers for a considerable time , in my husband’s name, and have, somewhere, last year’s Christmas catalogue!”

“First time customer good service and delivery.Disappointed in quality of some of food Lancashire hotpoint had no meat in it and veg and potatoes are definitely frozen which I could easily prepare myself with half the cost Puddings nice but custard congealed after heating Certainly not value for money”

“Wiltshire farm foods. Not a farm. Not food. Trying to read over in hospital and have no meat no diary DIET. WFF provide brown slop and rice (spicy bean casserole). Brown slop and baked potato (Jackfruit and beans). The laughable "Provencale". Actually sliced potatoes on baked beans. All foul.”

“I cancelled ordering 18 months ago, and thought I'd give them a try again, havent a clue what has happened the meals burn around the edges, wheres the flavour gone, tasteless ,I ordered a new meal with a "dumpling" it so rock hard ,I broke a tooth trying bite it, have the chefs forgotten what seasoning is ,the new meals are tasteless, gravy on oven cook meals is see through brown water ,disgusted for the prices ,”

“I received a discount voucher from them, as I always order and pay for my elderly dad. I spent almost one hour on the phone trying to order several meals and use the voucher. I then got told to call Customer Services, because the order was being paid for by myself and delivered to a different address! When I called Customer Services and gave all the details - again she couldn't find my details - yet I have been using them for over 2 years. After much to - ing and fro - ing, I was told the order would have to be cancelled and re activated. This was after 30 minutes on the phone. It was as if they had never heard of me or my Father. I ended up having to cancel the whole thing, as I couldn't face another at least 30 mins, plus the cost of the calls. I'm not well myself either. So now my Father has no meals for next week and I am worried, trying to find an alternative. I did tell Customer Services that I am very unhappy and they have lost a loyal customer. Avoid this company”

“I am recently widowed and do not want to cook for myself. Wff are helping me eat healthy food. They answer the phone quickly, take my order and payment efficiently. The food is delivered on time, and if I phone first thing they tell me where I am on the delivery list . The meals are ok, there is a good choice , and they mean I am eating, because at present I do not want to go out and shop and then cook and then wash up. Great service for me”

“I have lived at my new address for two years been having my food from this company for years ,they sent it to my old address which I am so annoyed about as we haven’t lived there for two years ,if the person had pressed a button our new address was there ,then I was told by the same Person in nottm I will have to order again and I cannot get my money back to pay for it without head office approval his whole attitude was terrible I have used wiltshirfarmfoods for years but this has really upset me ,I am 77 and do not need this as I am in poor health that is why I have the meals delivered they are really good value for money which I can afford ,they have just gone up so I order 1 meal less”
