“Hi, For a few years I had been using a Little Acorn wildlife camera and was reasonably happy. When it died I replaced it with another top of the range Little Acorn. However I became concerned that I was missing action due to slow trigger speed. I researched the market and decided on the Browning Patriot. The difference is like moving up from a village football team to the Premier League. The response time for video is excellent, no more missed action. The quality of the video is outstanding, even at night. The fiddly catches on the Little Acorn are now one easy to use catch giving access to front facing screen, backlit setting controls and decent sized on/off switch. So much easier to use. In all I am 99% happy with the Browning camera. My only negative is the limit of 30seconds on night time video. I would like to be able to set it longer.. --- Len”

“Have just added a trail camera to a recently purchased bat detector, both from Wildlife & Countryside Services. Have already used the bat detector, with trepidation as the phone I used had to be uncased from its usual protection (dock extender already on order to correct that!) and that was without going too deep into the handy "how to..." guides. “Spoke with Martin who recommended the Browning Recon Force Edge. I purchased this and received it from Martin very quickly. I am very pleased with the camera - the set-up is straightforward and the photos and videos are of excellent quality. My only complaint is that I have only seen, in daylight, various birds, and, at night, a cat - where are the lions and tigers? ( a fox, badger or hedgehog would be acceptable!). Will keep trying - may set the camera up at the Welsh Mountain Zoo where I might catch a glimpse of a snow leopard (without having to trek a million miles!)”

“Wanted to get a wildlife camera to see what keeps tripping our outside lights. Selected one which i thought appropriate. There could be better information for people like me who have never had one before. Chose this website as if it was good enough for Springwatch, it should be good. Had to order batteries & charger as extras but it wasn't clear to me i had to do that, however, all came together. Had help on telephone how to open the thing, simple - if you know how. All sorted now, just waiting to get some pictures. It is very sensitive as it works on tree leaf movement when it winds!”
