I have paid Whoopsie 24.99 since April 2022 now I have a small leak in my boiler and they won't repair it because the repair would cost 433 pounds and they would only pay 310 max that repair includes replacement of the moter that the engineer can't see but said it might be damaged they are ignoring my emails and not returning my calls

I've made several attempts to speak to a human and get an engineer out as I have no heating or hot water. Their customer service number goes to an overflow centre that takes 45mins to answer only to send an email to their main service centre. 2hr response time currently now at 5hrs. No engineer in sight. I'm switching first thing tomorrow

Absolutely atrocious company, avoid at all costs. We have been trying to get our boiler sorted since September last year. It has an intermittent fault. After numerous phone calls they finally sent an engineer last year who did nothing but tried to sell us a new boiler. After a load more emails and phone calls they sent the same engineer again and again he was not interested in looking at the boiler just wanted to sell us a new one. They rarely answer the phone or reply to emails. Happy enough to sign you up and take your money but have no interest in giving the services promised. We still have an intermittent fault on the boiler which is getting more regular all the time. Thanks for nothing Whoopsie

Have phoned numerous times about a seized thermostat valve on my radiator. I have been told every time that someone will get in touch and book a time to get it fixed but after 3 weeks of calling and promises there is still no one getting in touch. Its ridiculous that these people you talk to just say what you want to hear the go for a coffee break

After days of phoning about no hot water for over 4 days I've finally got a gas company coming to fix the valve I wouldn't recommend anyone to join whoopsie obviously they don't have an emergency number I'll be sending them the bill for my boiler repair as they broke the agreement I'm disgusted with Whoopsie

Rang Whoopsie on 20th December regarding loss of hot water om boiler. I am a 74 year old disabled person and as such considered venerable. As of today 28th December I am still waiting. Also cannot contact Whoopsie

Been trying to call Woopsie for I don’t know how long not recognising the number now I phone number before I spoke to one of the call handlers several times and told me a plumber will be phone me back. Is this a real company because no phone calls I’ve came back

Called on Saturday as my boiler is not working, got to Monday no call back as promised chased them to be told an engineer would be out between 5-9 called at 8 to be told no engineer coming out When I complained the lady at preferred told me I was lucky I could afford heating!! I’m a single mum with a poorly 6 year old daughter with no heating or hot water still!! Disgusting customer service from a terrible company!!!!!

Have had a claim with you since 19th Oct after variou calls and e-mails never recieved any response from you, I had to do all the calling after being told 3 times I would be called back I now have the engineer who came out on original call to come back to repair fault at a cost to myself can't even get someone to cancel my contract will be cancelling my Direct debit

Rang 25/05 No reply emailed at 9pm 26/05 10.40am no reply. Rang customer services at 9am could not get through to claims she said would leave message to date no phone call this is ringing for emergency

Appalling. My 13 year old boiler no longer heats the water without turning the radiators on. When I connected them I was first told that my boiler was a heat only one and did heat hot water despite it having done that for 13 years. Then they said if wasn't an emergency so wasn't covered. Beware they will use any excuse not to cover you.

I contacted Whoopsie six days ago and tried to make a claim for a leak in my bathroom. I made it clear how serious it was as theirs a build up of water in my kitchen ceiling. I have been passed around all this time cut off on the phone. Emails and calls ignored and still have no appointment to fix my leak. I would love to get a policy refund as don’t know what else to do. I am convinced this is a scam company. I need help please

They are not even worthy of one star. Took out central heating cover as they assured me they could offer me the same service as British Gas. They are nowhere near this! Called 4 days ago as boiler has broken and we are without hot water and central heating. Made them aware we have elderly relatives in the house. I was promised a call back. Didn’t happen. Received an email from the claims team requesting more information, responded immediately. Have just received another email 4 days later requesting more information. In the meantime I have taken out cover with British Gas and an engineer is on the way.

Well what can I say, I had a leak under my toilet which it took them 5 days to fix (eventually after lots of tooing and frowing) I have asked them today that I think my boiler needs a service as I am getting intermediate hot water and they said firstly that covid was restricting boiler services, when I said I should have had a free service which I haven't had they then said they only do services between May and October so they are going to look to the compliance department to see if it was mentioned during the initial call. I am severely disappointed so far with the service and I probably should have stayed with british gas.

Waste of my time and money. Arranged a boiler service, they didn't turn up. Lost a days pay and fuel (rented property). Phoned them, they promised to come following week. Nobody came. Emailed a complaint, completely ignored!. Now seeking compensation.

Went to switch heating on post summer with no power to boiler, contacted whoopsie, engineer came out super quick to assess, then it took over a week to get any further being told there was no claim and no authorisation given for repair, engineer out evenly, to do the repair only to find 2 other issues. They needed to go back to whoopsie, they called last week to say they needed more money off us as our repair exceeded their claim amount, now received a call to tell me we aren’t covered would we like details of a company to get a new boiler😱🤬. Telling me there was sludge in the system however this wasn’t mentioned by the engineer that visited.

I have attempted to contact whoopsie 6 times on and off for 3 weeks. Each time I was assured that an engineer would be in touch but no contact has been made regarding my elderly parents who have no hot water. I have paid £129 up front as instructed and a week later I am still waiting for a call. This is appalling and I will be requesting a refund and cancelling the contract….no doubt they will charge for that too.

I am really sorry to hear about this issue. I can see that our engineer did attend your property and advised that he already declared your boiler beyond economical repair 6 months ago with another provider, which was around the time you purchased the plan from us. Please speak to your customer care team to resolve this issue. Paul
Absolutely rubbish, 3 weeks ago I had an issue, with the boiler. Do not use. Hard to speak to a human being. No urgency into getting sorted. I have a £3000 limit per year on my boiler. There is a £500 limited per claim, my repair man came to fit a new part. But while talking to him we discussed a separate issue, so he said he would come back and fix that. I have been told this has come over my £500 limited. It’s not the same claim! It a very different issue. Whoopsie want me to pay an extra £400. Using this company does not give you any peace of mind at any level. Update I have had contact and my boiler will be repaired but will update once complete.
