“We've been a loyal customer for a number of years but we're disgusted with the pallet of ash logs delivered on the 15th February 2024 from Whitehorse energy/Firewood.co.uk. We found the pallet contained numerous logs no bigger then kindling and 25 logs were so decayed, not worth having. After contacting customer service and forwarding photos etc, we were told that 20-25% of logs can be below spec. Shocking!! They did not want to liaison, absolutely not interested. From my experience I suggest you stay well away from this company unless you want to pay £310 for a pallet of sticks..”

“Used to purchase my wood from luxury wood company,stayed with them for a few years,then started getting small pieces of wood,brought it to there attention and they gave a voucher for money off next order,then next order was just as bad so moved onto Whitehorse,been using there wood for the last 2 years and the quality and size have always been perfect,up till now that is,just had a delivery and the majority of the logs are more like kindling,even the length is shorter at around 21cms,mentioned it to the company thinking it’s good feedback to them,so they wanted photographs etc,no problem sent them,then they wanted more photos so delved into the crate more,then they wanted to charge me £40 to return the wood that they have supplied that isn’t within there own tolerances. Such a shame to have to source another supplier for consistently good wood that isn’t necessarily cheap.so if anyone knows of one please let me know as that’s 2 companies ticked of my list.at least luxury wood company attempted to correct things which is more than Whitehorse attempt.”

“Never in my life have a dealt with such an appalling company!!!! First of all the driver wanted to deliver the pallet on a public path with it hanging onto a 50 mph main road no where near the property after my step dad said he couldn't deliver there as he would cause an accident he refused to put it anywhere else my step dad said he was going to take pictures and complain to the company, my step dad was then physically assaulted 😡 after calling white horse energy to explain what had happened I spoke to a lady called Charlotte who didn't even apologise and pretty much couldn't care less after explaining about where the driver wanted to drop the pallet again she couldn't care less! After going back and forth and not getting anywhere I asked just to be refunded she then proceeded to tell me they would charge me a cancellation fee of just over £40 I then refused to pay and hung up! 2 minutes later I received an email stating I had been refunded and charged a cancellation fee 😡😡😡😡 I then spoke to the manager at white horse energy called Stuart after speaking to him (again no apology) and sending him pictures of where the driver wished to deliver the pallet he called me to say that they are not at fault and were not willing to refund me my full amount and again no apology!! The story goes on and on but never ever again will I order from this company! Be warned they will take your money and not care about anything after! Even if you get assaulted by one of the drivers!!”
