Visited Wex Bham earlier and I feel was made very uncomfortable by one of their staff, I was apparently 'behind the till' - the clear implication from his tone that I was up to no good. This despite the till being behind me, several feet away with two rather bored looking staff between me and the till. I was within a area that I (and I have seen others in the past) stand in to view a number of lower cost items before selecting and making a purchase. If its restricted, access should NOT be possible ! There are no barriers in place. My hands were in my pockets, I have tight pullover with normal trousers, I hadn't got a heavy coat on nor an open bag, (no place to hide anything shoplifted) I wasn't touching anything on display, I acknowledged him and said I was just looking, after which I was 'challenged'. I've shopped as Wex many times, several of the staff 'know me'. Ashamed that this now passes for customer service. Spent over £2K with Wex, LCE and MPB during the last 12 months. After this WEX has seen the last of me, that's £130 + of Fuji printer I had expected to purchase for a start. VERY POOR WEX.

I recently made a few visits to Wex, Milton Keynes and cannot rate the service highly enough; it was outstanding. I was in the sad position to trade in my late husband's equipment and this was dealt with sensitively and efficiently by John Murphy, the store manager. I subsequently took his advice and bought a smaller camera with the proceeds. I also took advantage of the half-hour support as an introduction. John Durant, the sales consultant was equally great and gave valuable instruction and tips on getting the most from my R6. Thank you so much to all concerned. It would be so beneficial to have in-store seminars; I know a few people who would attend.

Wex in Milton Keynes are amazing. I buy all my lenses and camera equipment here because they are so knowledgeable and helpful. Ben is absolutely brilliant and has been so patient helping my choose specific lenses and giving me so much advice and guidance. John the Manager and all the other staff are equally helpful. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.

£1300 for a camera but battery costs extra When you spend over £1300 on an "almost new" camera in original box, neck strap, cd, charger I would have expected it to include a battery. Even if the original was not available then a 3rd party battery can be obtained for a lot less than a tenner at trade price. Still amazes me that a large company seemingly does cost cutting like this rather than take the decent approach "lets throw a battery in so the customer can hit the ground running as soon as his/her new camera arrives". Didn't include the USB-3 lead either but that is of lesser importance. When I phoned them to ask they said they would sell me a 3rd party battery for a fiver less than list price - still an extra £37+postage. I guess it is back to MPB for me in the future.

John Murphy, the Manager at the Milton Keynes store is amazing. He is so helpful and patient and gave me some great advice on my new lens I have just purchased (Sigma 100-400) plus information on backdrop equipment. Nothing was too much trouble for him and I really appreciated all his advice. I have ordered all my photographic equipment through Wex because of the 1-1 advice and personal service I receive. He has even taken the time and trouble to send me links to the backdrop equipment I will be ordering in the next few months. An outstanding service.

Very sad after spending over £5000 pounds and having to argue about the incorrect battery 126 supplied with my second hand XT3 for £841 pounds and told I can buy one for about £60. 126s I was told battery was supplied. However I gave the camera back for a full refund and purchased new from Jessops with correct battery. The fact and upsetting was I was made to be a fool arguing about the correct battery. I will never deal with Wex again they have lost my trade and confidence if things go wrong . I was offered a second hand battery after but no time on reciept and no idea when available. . Shame but good store in leeds but bad customer service beyond belief.

Helpful, patient, friendly service from Chris. Good to get extra 10% discount. Good price on "used 500 mm CanonLens". Great showroom to browse your favourite products. Have purchased before from Wex and good to see some familiar faces serving.

Have purchased from Wex before as well as my recent purchase. From ordering to receiving your product is a first class service as well as their care taken in packaging their products. I would not hesitate in recommending this company to anyone.

I have shopped at Wex photographic for years spending £1,000’s. Like most of my purchasers I rely heavily on people’s reviews. However I have recently written two reviews, after noticing the first review wasn’t printed, after purchasing a very expensive canon 600 mkII lens and being very disappointed with it. I can only assume my review hasn’t been printed due to the negative feedback and them potentially loosing further order which is very disappointing as there could have been other negative reviews that have also not been printed which would have swayed me from purchasing it in the first place

I shopped here while visiting family in Wymondham and wanting to buy more stuff for my Olympus I sought out Ryan Newton. I had read on the site blurb that he used Olympus himself and I thought he’d be the guy to speak to. He was patient, helpful and considerate to a fault. He helped me find my way through the best available items in store for my particular Olympus model. I’m grateful and I WILL be back.

When purchasing by internet be prepared to receive an email which looks like a 'phishing' attempt. You are asked to send a copy of very sensitive material such as your driving license (one of the most prized items for identity fraud.) The email gives no indication of any policy about the handling of this material should you be blase enough to surrender it. For example how do they store it, who has access to it, is it destroyed after a period of time. In short not an atom of reference to Data protection legislation. If you believe that shopping for a camera should be more difficult than buying a house then this company should be considered as your first and only stop. If you believe that being porous with your personal details is for you then expect this procedure to also delay the delivery of your purchase

Wex is always 100% reliable and a company I trust. If I need something they either have it in stock or can get it and give me a delivery time that is reliable. I've dealt with many companies who sell items not in stock then don't ever deliver because they can't obtain what I want, despite taking my money. That is just frustrating and means they join my black list of useless suppliers! I prefer to deal with people I can trust.

I was recommended to try this company by a friend. I met with Reece Piper who could not have been more patient, friendly and knowledgable with a sense of humour. There was no push to purchase and I was given plenty of time to try out various. Highly recommend both the firm and Reece.

The used fuji x-t1 and lens i ordered was easily tracked on the day of delivery. The package was well protected and the contents were as described. To be honest probably better as they looked like new to me. I've used the wex website before and would not hesitate to use it again.
