I am basically happy with the full fibre, the connection on my PC is a little slow but I think that is the age etc of the PC not the full fibre!

Excellent infrastructure into our small village. Very amenable workforce at every stage and could be a little flexible about routing as long as I took on routing the cable inside my own home (normally they will terminate at the external wall, and my server room is in the middle of the house). Speeds are very close to advertised, about 220mbps down and 120mbps up. A little shy of the 250 advertised, but hard to complain when it's this fast. Good latency (around 10-13ms) too. Only reason for 4 stars is the install was 3 months delayed from the initial quote, and was going to be 5 months delayed had I not complained and asked to cancel. Suddenly it was in the following week! Also, no IPv6, if that matters to you (I would hope as a new network, they would be thinking to the not-too-distant future with implementing IPv6 now and not retrofitting later - time will tell). I've been with Zen Internet for years who are miles ahead of most ISPs, so I've probably been spoilt in this regard. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wessex Internet, and they're doing a great service installing this infrastructure.

Very pleased with the work and helpful approach of the connection and installation teams - and the quality of internet connection finally provided. Our only grumble would be the very long delays - well outside the timescales promised and without any updates or communication - between first signing up and eventually receiving the service. Nonetheless, a service worth waiting for.

We have only been connected for a couple of months and so far so good. We have only had to reboot a couple of times but this may be due to our internal boosters / power blip. The stability is so much better than before. The test will come with how easy it is to get a live person on the line on going when needed and if you call back when you say you will. So far so good. All the best to you all.

I have recently moved to Wessex Internet. It is about the same speed as I had with BT. All your staff on the phone are very helpful.

Wessex arrived rather later than promised and there was a quickly resolved issue with our telephone No. transfer. But for these Wessex would deserve a 5-star rating.

Great now it is up and running. Only one thing stopped me giving 5* rating - lack of communication between teams - I had BT broadband before, taken by wires to my computer upstairs. The Wessex router was put downstairs due to the configuration of my house and I didn't know that I would need a wireless USB adapter for everything to work until the very nice final man came to connect me.

took a while to get me connected but happy with service provided they have left a bit of a mess when they had to dig electric cable trench to cabinet, needs some surface stone to tidy job up

In the initial stages the office were not good at getting back to one with asked information. Ground crew were magnificent likewise the engineers- since going live have had good speeds and I am delighted - on line billing all very simple,

As a village community champion, I have worked long and hard to get Chilmark, Wilts, connected to fast fibre broadband. Technically the work has gone well and I am pleased with my connection which has proved pretty reliable, but communications with Wessex Internet over community relations have been very difficult and have broken down in recent months. This matter has now been raised to CEO Wessex Internet by the Chairman of Chilmark Parish Council. Wessex Internet needs to fundamentally review how it works with local communities to avoid broken promises and very poor communications.

All the personnel I have dealt with, whether on the phone or with the installation team, have been helpful and friendly. The switch over from BT has been fairly painless and so far I have no regrets. ultimately I now have speeds I would never achieve with BT.

Everything was put in on the day as they said it would be done and they were very efficient and I am having a little bit of trouble with the phone which I will phone phone you about and speak to you because I don’t really understand it all the only thing was the bringing them all in with the singers killed all my grass along the line and then a lot of the gravel that they had to go under they didn’t straighten it afterwards and I nearly fell because I tripped over a bit that I couldn’t see but apart from that we’re okay

took a while, got there in the end. Did not understand why a multiplicity of people were needed to finish the installation (three visits)
