The car was 9 years old, at the time of booking the appointment the mileage was 27,000. When we got the car to them they knocked hundreds off because the mileage was 27,300 as we were still using the car the mileage had gone up. The car scored 96 which was very high but still managed to cut the value by £560 from the online valuation. I dont know if these people are regulated by any industry, but they should be. Looking at all this negative feed back something should be done.

Very efficient service and a better deal than other competitors in the market. Could not be more helpful at the centre and very fair on pricing

It was a very quick and fair deal. Better than my part-exchange offer. The money arrived when it was promised and the paperwork was handled quickly and efficiently. Very pleased

Total rip off. If I could I'd give zero stars. When we went to sell our car we were offered +£600 less than the on-line quote! The reasons given 'well of course the 2nd hand car market is flat' um no sorry the 2nd hand car market is vibrant, I've done my research and 'of course the market fluctuates' sorry not by that amount in under 24 hrs

My wife got an online quote for £8.2k, when she took the car to the appointment in Bath, the assessor knock down the quote to £7.6k because the front bumper needs to replaced but it was only a small scratch, and also need to pay admin fee £75 before going any further. Disgusted how they tried to take her for a ride. So she tried Carwow, same photos and description, auctioned with reserve price £8.3k and successfully sold to a motor trader for the reserved price who inspected the car before paying and agreed front bumper just a small scratch. Wife got full amount of £8.3k (no fees) and money in her bank 5 mins after dealer checked car. So thank you webuyanycar.com for pushing her to get a better price elsewhere and we leave you with the following message "I sold my car but NOT to webuyanycar.com".

Got a value on my van, booked appointment, arranged someone to pick me up from Stoke. Got there, mysteriously my immaculate 18 month old van, with 8700 miles on it dropped considerably in price overnight. A complete waste of everyone’s time. I told them the day before on the phone, not to play silly f….ers. An interesting experience, I imagined this was going to happen, and was proved right. It’s rather like selling windows 20 years ago, they ‘close you’ via a phone call before. Several texts, then, you have all your documents ready haven’t you? Arranged a lift? Cleaned the vehicle? Then you get into a position of feeling you should accept the offer. They are trading on people’s desperation, and are basically begging cars at less than ‘bottom book’. When he made a play of the one very minor mark on the vehicle, I did mention the towbar it has that is extra? The virtually new ply lining inside. Shall I remove them? What these morons want is a brand new vehicle, when they are actually buying second hand ones. It’s hilarious really!!! When I challenged Craig, who was 25 minutes late for the agreed time, and mentioned a review or two he said ‘crack on mate!!!’ and wandered off. So here it is Craig….forget these idiots, Pay £30 and put your car on autotrader!!! These people are complete clowns!!!

Very, very disappointed with this Company. To quote a price and then devalue a really good quality car us not just disappointing but a totes a real shark of a Company... Do not trust their valuation. They WILL rip up off. Definitely beware.

Had a really dreadful and degrading experience with We buy any car, a few little paint bubbles on a car panel does not reduce the original price offered by £900! Their office was disgusting and if that was my business I would be ashamed to take customers into it. Feel like we were lured in and then treated like mugs. Very poor experience

BEWARE STAY CLEAR!!! I have given 1 star because I can't give any less. I had my vehicle assessed by We Buy Any Car this morning. The vehicle is well maintained, has some service history and is what anyone would assess as 'good condition' for its age. I was given an online valuation of £1505, but when assessed by the 2 employees of We Buy Any Car, they tried to insult my intelligence by offering just over £500!! This vehicle is worth in excess of £1800 so, in my opinion, I am unsure if they attempted to try and rip me off because I am female, or just because they think they can! They tried saying the vehicle wasn't an Ecotec engine, but in VERY LARGE LETTERS on the engine...it says EcoTec! This kind of exploitative practice is totally unprofessional and totally unacceptable from any company, but even more so from a well known organisation who people place their trust in to give a fair and accurate price for their vehicles. The Chesterfield branch of We Buy Any Car - shame on you!

I filled out the online forms and was given a valuation of just over £26000 for my vehicle, I arranged to take my vehicle to the Salisbury office on the Friday morning for inspection after paying £50 getting it valeted. Got to the We Buy Any Car site where the vehicle was inspected and a reduced valuation of £25183 was offered which I accepted. I paid the agreed to the additional charge for quick payment on the following working day. Went home happy, cancelled the insurance paying the cancellation fee, I then started looking online for another vehicle. Over the weekend I got a call stating that despite having the vin number and the registration the vehicle was an older model and that the garage must have registered it late, they then offered me £23000 which I refused, no idea why they can go back on signed documents. They delivered the vehicle back with a slow puncture. I also have had to re-apply to get the logbook put in my name and re insure the vehicle. To sum it up the process not only cost me time it also cost me money. It’s a shame as I was also going to use them for another vehicle, but due to my experience I will never use them again. Please be aware that the deal isn't done till you get your money, and the documentation isn't a guarantee that the deal will be completed.

My car is in nearly perfect condition. From a valuation of £1170 this dropped to £852 after a cursory inspection. There was no reason for this drop other than the inspector taking commission from the difference between the initial web offer and the “real life” viewing.

On the day of selling my car there was a promotion of a £50 voucher the sales man knew nothing about this and had to ring his manger who confirmed this was correct I was told I will receive this within 40 days and still nothing I emailed and my reply was can’t trace the order this was done within the Northolt brunch the man was helpful but didn’t have a clue about promotions which I found unprofessional I would not recommend to any family or friend

We've sold 2 cars to webuyanycar, and will very likely do so again in the future, as we found the process very quick and hassle free, and felt that we got a good price as well.

When I took my van to the appointed office the first thing they tried to do was reduced the given price by £600 for a couple of stone chips. After 4 years of use what do you expect???? I would have thought that this would have been reflected in the price I was given. In future I will use another company

We were very impressed with how easy it was to sell our car with you. Your colleague was friendly and helpful and quickly told us how much it was worth and the money was in our bank account before we reached home. Very impressive service and we have recommended you.
