They have evaluated my car for £4700 and carwow have bought it for £7000

The overall offer was reduced for no valid reason, so some tactics at play here, wouldn't use them again as lost trust.

An absolutely terrible experience of trying to sell my Vito Van in August. It was the Ashford Kent Depot...The young in-experienced boy offered me a bad price after WBAC initial quote online. Then I asked the young inexperienced boy that he hasn't even looked at the Van or even the engine yet!!! After he walked around my Van he then even had the cheek to offer me HALF of what he offered me!Seriously!! This boy was way too inexperienced for this kind of Job!!So I drove off not in the best of Moods as you can imagine!

They seem to rely on you being desperate for cash. Don't bother if you're just looking to sell your car for market value. Second time getting a quote and given a lower price for different reasons. They provide a price online and then look for reasons to lower it once you attend the appointment. Time wasters.

Was not offered what was quoted. My car is pristine! £400 less for one tiny stone chip! One hour later complete waste of time!

I accepted the price they offered it was agreed that I would take the car back a few days and hand my car over, the person I saw would not give me a written details of his quote, I took the car back a few days later the person that I had seen previously was not in on that day, so I saw someone else he spend about 30 mins keying and checking the cars details on his tablet, he then walked around the car and said I will have to offer you less than what your were previously quoted because I think its worth less, I said no way I was told what I would get and thats what I want, nothing has changed on the Car since the first quote, he would give me what I was quoted, I had already bought a new car and they agreed to take my car for the same price WebuyanyCar first quoted, WebuyanyCar is a complete waste of my time, it seems its all part of their buying tactics in trying to get cars for rock bottom price at the car owners expense.

Ongoing problem, so far it appears my sons vehicle has been stolen by this company. No money has been paid to him and vehicle was supposed to have been returned to him 3 days ago. It has not arrived. Customer service seems uncontactable. Many messages left and emails sent. There has been no reply. Where is his vehicle, we have waited in for it to arrive. Next step is to contact police as we believe they this company have stolen it and sold it on.

They offer £1000 on line. That'll do. Save the hassle of selling it myself. Made the appointment to sell it, get there and they offer £200!!! Are you taking the tiddle? He went through the rigmarole and came up with £400! From a £1000 offer online? What a waste of my time and fuel to drive there for that. Bunch of rip off merchants! Better off selling it myself. Won't go back there again, that's for sure.

As expected the offer was lower than the original quote. The mot was 2 months and there was a missing service which wbac reduced by £200. The. They offered me 800 lower which I declined. They would the. Go on to sell the car at market value a profit of £2k or25%. Not bad for a business model

Took my car in for valuation they valued the car at £9500 . I said l needed to keep the car for a week till new car was ready. On return to sell my car they reduced the value to £7750 . Very abrupt and cocky . I took my car to a main dealer and got a much better price . Be aware.

If I could leave zero stars I would! Absolute rip off merchants, preying on people who think they have no other choice and are trusting about what these charlatans tell them! I was offered £16,500 online for my vehicle but after it was checked over at the Edinburgh Fort branch by an “expert” this dropped by almost £1000! Allegedly my car had damage to the bonnet and grill due to being involved in an accident (all absolute nonsense!) and inside the grill there was black tape keeping some wiring together (also utter nonsense as the black tape turned out to be a piece of what looked like plastic from a black bag wrapped round a piece of cable! This could well have been litter but I have a sneaking suspicion this could have been planted there!). Anyway, when I refused the valuation of £15,500 the chap said he’d “see what he could do as he wants to make sure I get a good price”, he touched another button on the iPad which magically increased the valuation by £200. I quickly refused the offer and within 20 minutes from arriving we were on our way. He also made a big deal of some stone chips on the bumper (what do they expect in a 3 year old car) and a tiny mark on the drivers door which was barely visible. Also note that there would also have been admin fees and payment fees to be paid, reducing further what I’d walk away with. On the advice of a friend took the vehicle into Arnold Clark this morning, deal done, £700 higher than we buy any car and remarkably today there’s no damage to the car and it’s certainly never been in a accident!

Offered £4000 below market value for my van and been harassed by this outfit constantly the past month with emails text and calls. Warning ⚠️ don’t use these cowboys. Do what I have done and report them to the police and file a harassment order

This is what the company is all about, i knew a guy that did this with houses. They will give you an offer price and get you exited knowing that 90% or people are desperate and need the cash. Once you take the car in they will find all sorts of problems, this will decrease the valuation, because you have already spent the money in your mind most people will accept the devaluation. This is how they make money easy legit scam praying on the weak like most companies. I would never sell to a place like this.

Because of ULEZ my "S" type Jaguar diesel and with only a week to go on road tax and insurance I had to sell my car within a few days, otherwise pay a costly insurance and road tax. I was quoted £1500, but they said the paint on one panel had an inferior paint sprayed onto it and not obviously a Jaguar paint, although one could not tell the difference in the colour. Because of the time factor I was forced to sell this wonderful reliable car for their price of £1038. However, I have just seen it advertised on "Auto trader" in a car dealership 40 miles away for £4494. So much for "We buy any car" and this so called ULEZ pollution con trick.

Agreed price £3,390. Turned up to agree deal and it turns out the vehicle was previously owned by a hire car company (they will have known this before turning up from the searches they do). Pressured my 70 year old mother into a agreeing a value of £2,400. They are scammers and this page is rife with fake reviews.

Online valuation £28k. After on-site videos inspection valuation reduced to £27.4K - stone chips and loss of key. Agreed valuation - signed and sold the vehicle. Two days later received phone call from WBAC - subsequent inspection found a fault with the engine (noise). Value reduced to £22.3k or have vehicle returned. Vehicle serviced by manufacturer service centre only 1000 miles previously. Car still under manufacturers warranty. No engine noise issue heard by me, during service and at WBAC inspection. WBAC cannot find the original inspection video. I was arranging for manufactures service agent to collect the vehicle from WBAC as a £5k value reduction indicates a major engine issue. Was in an email conversation with WBAC regarding this arrangement. Car unexpectedly delivered back to my home address - driver stated that the car had no engine issues. Car now booked into manufacturers service centre for diagnostic inspection. I have to reapply for the V5. Awaiting inspection and subsequent report. If fault found then will repair under warranty. If no fault found then I will ask WBAC to honour the original contract. Raised customer complaint - no response. Customer services are very difficult/impossible to contact. My aim now is to get WBAC to honour the original contract - exploring my options.

Rip off. Offered nearly half what was originally told the value was. Sales man (if you can call him that) was un informative with every aspect of the transaction. Then told don't get the money until the next day as it had finance. He should have told me that. Now I'm left without a car.

I recently went to sell my car at we buy any car in Solihull retail park. While I was happy with the valuation after viewing the car, I couldn't believe the rudeness and aggressive nature of the branch manager Angie K. This manager could do with some serious customer service training. Her time was abrupt, dismissive anf unfriendly. While I really did want to sell the car there and then but out of principle I refused to do business with someone so rude. I then went on to sell the car at the same valuation at another branch in Birmingham. Webuyanycare please ensure this manager receives training or I suspect other customers will simply use another company all together.
