“A month after purchasing my porsche from invictus motors I had the turbo charger fail after covering around 200mile . The gold warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on as took 4 months to get them to pay not even half the repair bill. Apparently they lost my details and could contact me. How convenient. I think this place is fine if u own a car worth up to 5000 pounds anything else forget it.”

“So they took my money and did everything they could not to pay out. My van needs work done to it but they want me to pay the garage to take out the engine for further inspections all ready out of pocket didn’t even supply hire car , and I have premium cover not worth the paper it’s written on please avoid go somewhere else”

“Bought a used car and got the silver package warrenty for 3 month with car. 3 days later car had a problem with a metrical part. Called warranty wise about this and did not want to know saying electrical faults was not on the liver plan. But I know this is wrong as my father is a solicitor and looked into this. This company likes saying NO quit a lot”

“Currently in a battle over a premature failure of bearings in my cars turbo. Continually refusing to pay out even with my mechanic stating categorically this is a premature failure they keep trying to say there must have been an oil leak. My mechanic has very clearly told them there was no leak. Slippery business, very shady. I've emailed Watchdog but also interestingly enough, for anyone on here to follow up with via ombudsman or court. I've found a job advert for their 'Technicians' role. The job of dealing with looking over the mechanics report and deciding if the repair goes ahead. The vacancy specifically states, "no mechanical knowledge required" * I've attached the screenshot, along with another one from a Facebook sponsored ad with Edd China. In the comments someone asked what he has to do with the company. I've screenshot the conversation where Warrantywise state he is " contracted by us to act as our final arbiter in claims. If you are dissatisfied you can speak to Edd directly about your repair." Quite a thing to divulge, so obviously I contacted Edd via his Facebook page as Warrantywise conveniently don't give a contact address. I'll update if he responds. However, if anyone is interested, BBC Watchdog are very interested in the dealings of this company. Email them your story. Good luck all. Rachel”

“Cowboys they won't pay quick to take your money do not use promise you the world when you take cover in reality there always plotting excuses why they won't pay out itsnearly caused me suicide my bill came in at over 1000 pounds and they say this isn't covered that isn't covered but it is my timing belt with is covered which caused the problems with the crank pullies ect please people keep away from this company you have been warned”

“Warranty wise Criminals, taken them through the small claims court got a judgment issued for the full amount which I payed to get my Ferrari fixed £9999. Next stage high court enforcement bailiff's I took out the gold cover with all the misleading sales from warranty wise customer services. Paid for a truly independent engineer’s report which gave my the evidence in court to prove they are criminals.”

ANY SUBSTANSTIAL CLAIMS WILL NEVER BE PAID OUT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, WARRANTY WISE ARE A COMPLETE SCAM AND CON FROM FRAUDULENT SALES TACTICS ON THE POLICY – YES THE SALESMAN WILL SAY IT DOESNT MATTER ABOUT CARS PAST HISTORY AND THAT YOU ARE FULLY COVERED AND PROTECTED FOR EVERYTHING UNTIL YOU GO TO CLAIM – THATS WHEN YOU GET TOLD YOUR CAR WASNT PREVIOUSLY MAINTAINED TO DEALER SPECIFICTIONS – EVEN WHEN YOU CAN PROVE ONLINE THAT IT WAS – LANDROVER WEBSITE HAS GREAT ONLINE RECORDS – I TRIED TO MAKE A CLAIM FOR A TRANSFER BOX THAT WAS CLEARLY LISTED ON MY GOLD POLICY (£2K POLICY) – FIRST THEY CLAM IT WASNT SERVICED WAY BACK IN 2019 WHEN I ONLY HAD THE CAR 6 MONTHS FROM JUNE 23 - HOWEVER ONLINE RR RECORDS PROVE IT WAS – THEY THEN SAY THEY WILL SEND AN “INDEPENDENT ENGINEER” ACE ENGINEERS – NOT INDEPENDENT AT ALL AND ARE PAID TO DO WHAT WARRANTYWISE TELL THEM – THEY THEN SAY YOU NEED TO PAY TO GET THE SEALED UNIT THAT YOU CAN NOT BUY INTERNALS FOR REMOVED AND TAKEN APART BEFORE THEY WILL CONSIDER ANYTHING – THIS COSTING YOU HUNDREDS OF POUNDS IN WASTED GARAGE RAMP AND LABOUR COSTS – THIS IS EVEN AFTER A RR SPECIALIST WHO HAS TAKEN A LOT OF TIME TO DO A FULL REPORT SHOWING THEM VIDEOS & PICS OF THE FAULT INCLUDING OIL SAMPLES – ITS A COMPLETE DELAYING TACTIC KNOWING NOBODY COULD EVER AFFORD TO BE ABLE TO PUT OUT ALL THE PERSONAL EXPENSE ALSO KNOWING GARAGES WOULD NOT DO THAT AS THE UNIT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED IN ITS ENTIRITY. “Warrantywise are a shambles. I had to take my car to four different garages to finally get the problem with my car sorted. The first private garage suggested by them which I took the car to refused to take my car apart to fix the issue so I was then told by Warrantywise to take my car to Halfords who also couldn't fix it which I had to pay £50 to hear (not them!). I was then advised to take my car to a main dealer who diagnosed the issue and several others, leaving me with a £2k+ bill. Of course, Warrantywise were not willing to help with this, only offering to pay a quarter of this bill, despite much of the work that needed doing which they rejected being important to keeping me safe on the road. Thankfully, the work managed to get done at a cheaper price elsewhere and was covered by the person I bought the car from, but not without a last kick in the balls with me having to pay the £118.80 charge to have the car released from Mini to go to this cheaper garage. On top of this, I was never offered any form of alternative transport during the 2 month ordeal, even when I prompted someone that I may need this upon putting in my request. This meant I was forced to spend over £240 on temporary insurance to get to my office-based job as the only other alternative at this point was to not go in, risking further financial implications. Overall, Warrantywise put me through a 2 month hell with their process. Their plan does not cover you for important work that may need to be done to your car and all the while they won't bother helping you with any other charges you have to incur while they stiff you with their rubbish process. Don't waste your time and money with them!”

“N.B. I have created on FB group for the purpose of holding this company accountable in court fb / groups / vehiclewarrantyscams please share your story there and get in touch. After only owning my current Jaguar XE for just two months (financed through Zuto with the additional three year "Gold Level" cover provided by Warrantywise). I had a message on the Dashboard stating "Incorrect Diesel Exhaust Fluid Quality Detected: No engine restarts after x amount of miles". I topped up the Ad Blue and ran for a while to see if it would clear, but no such luck. I contacted Warrantywise who advised that I get the issue diagnosed and request a repair under warranty by getting the mechanic (Jaguar specialist) to complete the online form and submit the diagnostic test results. This was all done according to instructions received (note the car is under 100,000 miles and under 10 years old and this matters with regard to what is covered). The problem turned out to be the turbo bearings failing (covered by the warranty). The mechanic mentioned that the seals and oil pipe would also need replacing with a number of other parts to the tune of £3900. Warrantywise flat refused to payout or provide any recovery services or hire car. They stated that the oil seals failing is this issue and therefor not covered. The mechanic at the "Jaguar Specialist" then (on my request after a lengthy conversation) replied to Warrantywise with a professional assurance that the seals were not at fault and that the fault was the bearings. Warrantywise (having not seen the issue and despite receiving all the technical data and full diagnostics report) dispute the specialists findings and still refuse after escalating. I have read about many similar instances of injustice on this site alone. I am taking them to court and both myself and my solicitor would like to hear from anyone with similar stories where warrantywise have blatantly disregarded claims in breach of their terms and conditions. I have created on FB group for the purpose of holding this company accountable in court fb / groups / "vehiclewarrantyscams" please share your story there and get in touch.”

“As an independent Garage owner I have now declined to take on any Warranty work related to Warrantywise. After dealing with this Company for a few years now we have seen every claim submitted to them be rejected even though the failure is documented and processed inline with the warranty agreement. The company will find any excuse to reject the claim and prolong the repair process as long as they can. The customer basically gets left high and dry with the repair costs. They will send an independent (1⭐️ rating) assessor out to investigate the claim (Their office is just round the corner from the headquarters) they then take forever compile a report to say the failure is due to “wear and tear” and not covered by warranty. The only good reviews are related to how easy the policy is to buy and hand over your hard earned money and then it’s all down hill from there…. Ed China should be ashamed to be the Face of this Company but I suppose all the money will help him sleep at night.”
