I have just returned from Sinah Warren Strictly dancing break. It was fantastic ,the best week end break ever. It surpassed our expectations. The Strictly dancers were so friendly and gave their time to make everyone happy. It was well planned. With dance class, time to meet and greet, have our photos taken. With an amazing show each evening. If you love Strictly its a must.

We were at Cricket st Thomas and it’s the first time myself and the wife have used them the staff were great especially the young lady who done the quizzes she kept the guest well entertained and would go down well on a cruise ship a great few days

Have had to cancel our holiday for may 2024. Had alot of promblems getting money refunded. As my husband is waiting for cancer operation. We have been refunded money less our deposit. As if that's not bad enough warners have now told us their have cancelled our twismas break and we have lost our 70 pound deposit . My letter that we sent with hospital report said we would not be able to travel in the new future it did not mention twismas.warners have cancelled our holiday not us will never ever go to warners again I'm taking this further I'm contacting citzens advice as I have took more advice on this no compassion what so ever warners have when it comes to illness. Mr spaldingsmith

Just returned from Alvaston . standard of the hotel as really gone down. The bathroom had cracked shower tiles to the base also hadn't been cleaned underneath the sink & radiator. Empty bottle of shampoo was left in shower holder from the last guest. Dirty stain on chair in bedroom. We have been going to Warners for 22yrs several times a year we have seen a big change to many to mention. Having said all that we had an excellent waiter called Jamie he went over & above to make our dining experience pleasant.Highly commended. We also had an excellent afternoon tea, good selection of sandwiches and cake.really helpful polite staff especially Dee who was so knowledgeable . The entertainment was fantastic this weekend. So come on Warners up your game & let's have more of how it used to be Really Good Value, & a really friendly atmosphere.

Having read all the terrible Warner reviews I can empathise. But we solve the problems by taking our own sheets and pillows and cleaning materials. I always clean every surface before I can settle down. Takes only a few minutes. I do not trust the cleaning staff.

We are regulars at Warner hotels especially studley castle we went in January 2024 to find the jacuzzi wasnt working it not the first time this has happened they said they was waiting for parts for it we just called today to book for tomorrow for 2 nights 28th feb and it's still not working they are advancing spa breaks with no spa we wont be returning get your act together warner hotels.

What is the use of paying the extra cancellation protection when it does not work ??? As a terminally ill person who cancelled within a period to allow them to re-sell the room have been told they will hold onto the £300 + until they book again.. basically they need that money for the sake of a little quality of life that they have left.. never have I dealt with such uncaring disgusting money grabbing people such as these !!!

Looking sad, needs new carpets,stuck down with a lot of black tap. Swimming pool has no heat, we were told hasn’t worked for the last six weeks, had my nails done on the Wednesday, started to chip the next day, if it was our first visit to warners it would be our last, come on you can do better.

I stayed at Gunton Hall in 2023 and 2024, both times at the end of January/beginning of February. The staff are generally very friendly and helpful and the food (which is buffet-style) is good but I would suggest that menus be displayed each day as this did not appear to be the case. The first time I stayed there was a fridge in my chalet but unfortunately not the second time and apparently this is according to the grade of the chalet. On my second visit I had some problems with the heater in my chalet and needed reception to call a technician in to explain how to work it. This was helpful but even when the heater was working it could still be quite noisy!

just returned from Alveston Hall yesterday. Brilliant break - fun filled with loads of fun filled activities. Evening Entertainment great - especially the entertainments team's own Showtime which was the best! The staff are fantastic - especially Damian and Sophie. Last year we had breaks at Bodwellian Castle and Studley Castle, both were equally enjoyable, staff made it so for us there too especially Lewis and Ryan respectively. Warners have 'got it right' for us.

In my opinion Warners mislead the public with the entertainment. They advertise groups who clearly don’t exist anymore with original members…seems like a free for all on these 1960/70’s names with the parasites who are just music scammers living off other original members names. The Dreamers for example….one says he was in Freddie and The Dreamers yes for six weeks and sacked…why should we pay premium money to watch fakes. Union Gap nothing to do with the band at all. Plus many many more Tom Farrier musician from the era. Warners stop misleading the public.

Why do warners keep changing there menus and every time for the worse I have been going for 40 years now my children and also the older grand children I am so sorry they don’t have such good food as warners origanal menus and the new lunch time menu the coffee nest is awful

The actual site at Gunton Hall is OK, as is food and accommodation. Just don’t use the spa. On entry there is a sign warning you to be quiet! This gives you an idea of management style. I booked the facial/manicure package. My nails take ages to dry, so I requested my manicure first but their ‘protocol’ is to do your facial first. I just had nails done and yes, they smudged, although I was extremely careful. They were removed next morning and I felt disinclined to take the facial as the atmosphere was so difficult. I requested a refund which has been denied. My word against the manager here. Whatever happened to customer service? Be warned! Don’t expect a refund if you are dissatisfied!

I have stayed at warners hayling island before we found the food not to be its usaul best breakfast not bad but going later there was not several things dinner was awful my prawn cocktail was not edible more like a pile of rice on the plate the pate was ok but only 2 very small peices of toast the main meals were very bland no taste at all couldnt eat

Have stayed in a few Warner hotels with great stay. Just stayed at Cricket St Thomas. Had terrible time. Very long walk to room. Room was cold and not aired. Selection of main meals in the evening was very poor, basically cooked dinner each evening. Just meat and veg each night. Towel rail not heating. Towels were vey rough like wiping in sand paper. So call dressing gowns only up to size 12 and rough. Entertainment great on the Saturday night other nights rubbish.

Booked 3 nt break 2022. In hospital cancelled. Money put in holding acc for 12 months. During that time diagnosed with incurable lung disease. Not advised to mix for fear of infection which could prove deadly for me. In fact our lives are now the same as shielding permanently. Have to wear masks when with people indoors etc. and cough a lot. Unpleasant for other people. Supplied Drs letter as they requested which gave name of disease and reasons I shouldn’t go. Dr wrote she supported my request for refund. Still refused. Write to MD at head office with full info - still refused. Didn’t even send written reply and explanation. Got his sidekick to ring. Read T and Cs in detail - nowhere does it state about refunds for incurable diseases or a terminal diagnosis. In fact they never give a refund. It’s all rebook or gift your holiday to a friend. If you are able to rebook they then charge rebooking/ cancellation fee plus the updated price of the break you booked initially so you end up losing most of the money they put in a holding account anyway and it costs you a lot more. What they put about their protection plan on the back of the confirmation of booking is just a few lines but it’s written in a way that leads you to think you are fully covered. You have to really dig into it online to find the exact facts which are ‘you’ve been a sucker mate!’ So here I am with an incurable disease I didn’t ask for losing out on the test of my life and some so and so is keeping my money! £472.01! What a way to treat people! Disgraceful!

Nice hotel great room very poor dining choices for someone on a gluten free diet. Why are you vegetarian and vegan diet catered for which is a choice gluten free is a medical condition. I don't think I will return to a Warners hotel unless they up their dietary requirements. Not impressed.

We have been many times to Warner hotels but this was our first visit to Alveston Hall. 8 in our group all disgusted by the dirty stains on the chairs in the dining room. FILTHY. 2 of our group had upset stomachs and we heard of other people taken Ill. The sound system was awful from our table position, just heavy bass. Nobody was able to do anything about it not did they seem particularly sympathetic. The man in the room beneath ours was smoking on his patio which meant we had to close our window and with no air conditioning it was stifling. Come on Warner, your standards are slipping.

Everthing except the Dining room set up. What has happened..? No menus, few staff, mucky servery, waiting times for water etc, the list is endless. The lovely people serving us did their best but meal times should be a good experience but at Gunton Hall it certainly was not. Before guests start to vote with their feet, can we please get back to how it was as my husband won't go back? and after listening to other comments neither will a lot of others. Along with that, the general maintainance of the pathways around the site neet attention, cracks and pot holes and unlit areas are becoming dangerous. On a positive note, the entertainment was good and we especially loved George.
