What a sham of a company, they have taken a email I sent and twisted my response to say they won’t pay out. I said I can’t remember the first date my dog was limping but it was a approx date. They then said sorry not covered as a pre existing injury by 4 days, my email which I still have clearly says I can’t remember the date but it was a weekend so maybe a certain date. At no point did my email say it was that date which they have took. My vets notes will state what I said to them at the live time. Asking me weeks after to remember an exact date is disgusting. I have 3 dogs insured with these guys and I will be cancelling them all and moving somewhere else.

More interested in their procedures than their customers, vets or pets. My dog has a condition which needs life long treatment. Every month I get a supply of pills which keep him ok. Every month I submit a continuation claim and send the invoice. Now they tell me that they need a medical history for each continuation claim. When I point out that they already have his history, know what the treatment is, know how much has been paid they say they're following "formal procedures " The procedures don't tell them anything they don't already know and just create bureaucratic work for the vets. Waggel sucks

Absolute con artists. Happy to take money, then use words vets use to refuse a claim. Who knew that "flare up" actually meant a pre existing medical condition. Stay clear!

DO NOT INSURE THROUGH WAGGEL. STAY CLEAR..... The Future Of Pet Insurance. What a crock of S**T. My dog had been insured a couple of years through this SHODDY company. My dog had never needed to go to the vets in 6 years of his life but unfortunately had to have a xray due to lameness. £1000 later these fraudsters refuse to pay as my husband used terminology at the vets he wouldn't be able to work him and would have to retire him which meant no fun training as he is from working lines. Vets confirmed he was not a working dog but a pet but that's it one wrong word used and these con artists take your money but have no intention of paying out. Personally wouldn't give you one star. Cancelled all insurances through this company not even worth my time.

On this occasion it was evident from the medical history that your dog was a working dog, and this is against the terms of our policy. Do not use take your money then do all they can to refuse your claim, worst insurance company I have ever used, absolutely poor service

Will not pay out on first claim avoid at all cost. No previous medical conditions. Terrible company will no be renewing policy.

They make up ridiculous convenient diagnoses to decline claims. I don't know that other "schemes" they have in their sleeves, but I decided to stop wasting my money. My advice: open a saving deposit for you pets and put your money there. That would be waaaaay more useful than any pet "insurance" Good health to your pets!

If you have insurance for your pet and considering changing or thinking of getting insurance, please I beg you do not give "Waggel" the time of day! Absolute waste of time and 2 unsuccessful claims...pointless, faddy company, scrutinises everything on a any previous insurance, classes things such as a snotty nose, sickness, tummy upset, which can arise for many different reasons not relating to each other etc as a pre existing condition. For us one snotty nose was a grass seed and the second was cancer, two very different cases. Appalling service.I will be cancelling both of my pets insurance as totally pointless and over 4k down.

Very Good unfortunately Bear has relapsed and is now in Chestergate Dog Hospital. His diarrhoea has not improved and has now been there all weekend . A much larger bill to follow and I appreciate my excess plus amount covered so will send invoice when I get it

Above excellent from start to finish. You covered my American bulldog when others wouldn't. You only charged a fraction of a price compared to pet plan who charged over £160 for the same cover! Your staff are amazing with their swift responses and even though I was only covered for a short period of time before our baby injured himself, you covered it with no issues. I can not recommend you highly enough. A very happy Odin who has 7 weeks out of the 8 post surgery waiting for the update next week! Wouldn't be possible without this insurance xx

I find it unbelievable that you cannot claim for anything in the first 14 days yet waggel charge you for these 14 days. My puppy got ill 8 days into the policy and vet details to show this yet it’s classed as pre existing. How on earth is that pre existing?! So a dog gets hit by a car what happens then? That certainly isn’t pre existing is it! Shocking service, don’t use!

We have received very good service, Octavia suddenly became very poorly out of the blue and this was distressing for the whole family. Waggel has made her treatment cost easy.
