“Very pleased with the loan I got until I paid it back and went to take another one out and it rejected me left me in a lot if trouble and I am not using online chat to ask why and the person isn't even writing back”

“Vivus service was excellent at first their rates and speed of payment was better than any other I'd tried. However despite taking out a few loans with them which i had paid promptly, so they had all my banking information, when I had to change my payment card becuase the previous one had been cloned, the hoops they made you go through to changing it, even wanting me to send in a photograph of me holding my new card. I refused to do this because it was ridiculous. A week or so later it allowed me to update me card details but ever since then they have refused to give me a loan. Until this I would of rated them very good”

“I had a loan and paid it back before it was due to be paid. I later wanted another loan but got declined. WHY ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????”

“i had 2 loans from vivus, both quick and easy to apply for and the money went in to my account very quickly, both were paid off in full and both paid early, was offered another loan which i applied for to be told no i cant have it with no reason why i was refused, i have email after email saying you are pleased to announce i am a valued customer and apply for a loan, when i do again i am refused with no explaination, would have at first recommened anyone to go with vivus now i would tell people not to which i think is a shame as they were very helpful at first now i would tell people to stay well clear”

“took one loan out with vivus wich was fine ,rates were cheapest etc. repaid my loan on time , have tried on numerous occassions for a second loan and refused due to your "lending policy" so on both occasions took my business to Wonga and they are quite happy to do business with me , your loss i guess”

“I was allowed to borrow money three times from Vivus. All of my loans were repaid exactly on time. On my fourth time of application I was declined for no reason and I have subsequently applied for a loan only to be declined. I have contacted customer service via e mail and they cannot give me any explanation for the refusal.”

“I WAS GRATEFUL FOR MY LOAN QUITE A FEW MONTHS AGO OF WHICH I REPAID AND SINCE THEN YOU WILL NOT LEND ME ANY MORE BUT YOU KEEP SENDING ME EMAILS TO ME ASKING ME TO APPLY AND WHEN I DO YOU WILL NOT GIVE ME A LOAN. PATRICIA BOSTON”

“After taking two recent short term pay day loans and repaying them in full on the due date, I was advised that my credit limit had been increased to £600 with effect from 4th July 2013. When I then applied for a 21 day loan for that sum on 12th July, my application was declined. If you are not prepared to stand by your committment to me and your customer service advisors trot out a scripted response that do not answer my questions then expect me to do as I have done. I have made alternative arrangements and will NEVER be returning to you as a customer.”

“They only allowed me take a loan out once although I had paid the full amount back however the service with my loan was ok”

“I was entirely happy with my service from vivus however suddenly through no late payments or defaults vivus refused my loan and when asked the operator had no explanation. I believe once you have gained credit your loyalty should be considered and feel I have been let down when I was in a bad situation, however all I ask is that you consider my situation I have always paid on time thank you. Abbie Lewis”

“I took a loan and paid it back in full on the date it was due, when I later applied for another loan I was refused, this was after receiving an email advising me I was a great customer and the amount I could now borrow was increased . As you can imagine I was not very impressed.”

“WAS brilliant lenses a few times and always back loan, sometimes even before repayment date, then all of a sudden for no reason you won't lend to me, so don't think the service is as good anymore, found a new lender who lends without any problems”
