I've been waiting for 3 weeks for a simple refund of an item returned online, and now been told it will take another week. No one contacted me to confirm receipt of the returned item either. The instore experience is better but online is awful.

Today I reached vision express store, Pratapnagar branch Nagpur(India) at 8:45 pm and requested optician to check eyes of my daughter. Also requested to clean 2 no.s glasses. Assistant has cleaned the glasses however optician has refused to check the eyes and said that store will be closed at dot 9 pm and eye testing takes huge time. I requested him 2-3 times but he has denied. He was very arrogant. Vision express should provide camera in stores to record the timings, monitor the services by staff.

I will never ever use their service again. First, I went for an eye appointment, everything went fine. They said they will deliver the trial contact lenses but did not happen, so didn’t bother too much about it. Then, they called me after three months again stating I need an eye appointment. I was quite baffled as I just had my eye check few months back. I went to the appointment anyway and they also don’t know why I was scheduled for an eye appointment. The lady doctor then just did additional checks and gave me the trial contact lenses stating that I try them on and scheduled me for another appointment in a month to see if there are any issues with the contacts and if none then I can place my order. So after a month, they gave me a call and I had my eye check up again. At this time, they asked me to place my order for contact lenses which I can collect at a later date, and I ordered contact lenses good for a month. More than a week after, they called me back stating that my order was ready. I went to their store, and the staff gave me contact lenses. I was not able to check if they are correct as I was confident that those are the contact lenses that I ordered. When I got back home, I check the contact lenses that were given to me and it was not the prescription lenses that I ordered. Rather, they were trial lenses and not for resale as stated in the packaging; it is only good for ten days as well and not for a month as I have purchased. I gave their branch a call (02083131545) multiple times, and to no surprise, they are not picking up the call. It’s just been ringing endlessly. So I gave the main customer service a call, and they said they will email the Bromley branch. Tried to call the Bromley branch again but to no avail. It is disappointing to have their services so save yourself the headache and never ever go to this branch. They don’t have good customer service

Extremely happy with the Service, I received the Optician and the girls are so helpful and kind, Extremely patient with , I was given really good advice was helped every step of the way at choosing the right pair of glasses for me, The girls went above and beyond to make sure I was happy, Highly recommend the Branch at Great Notley Tesco’s Braintree

Due to traffic I arrived 12 minutes late for my appointment and they refused to see me, there were no other customers and were open for another 30 minutes plus. I’m disgusted with their customer service

Tanya arrived for a home visit. Shouting at me, not talking. Insulted me, by my bedroom not being big enough. I am a disabled person and have been in a care bed for five years. Not everyone one lives in Buckingham palace. We unfortunately did not have a bed room to fit her oversized attitude in. I will advise anyone not to use vision express. Mrs Simpkins

I recently had a disappointing experience with Vision Express at Villagio Mall in Qatar. Two weeks after purchasing a pair of shiny black sunglasses, I noticed significant discoloration on parts of the frame, with the shiny finish turning matte. Believing this issue to be covered under the product's insurance, I returned to the shop for assistance. However, the response I received was far from satisfactory. The supplier attributed the damage to my fault, vaguely blaming it on a "chemical" interaction, without specifying the type of chemical. This accusation was made despite the fact that the sunglasses had not been exposed to any chemicals under my care. This leads me to suspect that the product's quality is to blame, possibly failing to withstand the sun's heat or reacting to common substances. The supplier's quick dismissal of my concerns seemed like an attempt to avoid providing a replacement or repair. This experience has left me questioning the quality of the products sold at Vision Express and the integrity of their customer service. I urge potential customers to consider my experience before making a purchase at this location.

After explaining to a friendly assistant about a problem I've had with some glasses that i had to take back to the opticians in town who did my previous eye test as they were almost the same as my previous prescription and i was struggling to see properly , she advised i obtain the prescriptions so they could compare their findings with theirs . An appointment was arranged and nothing else was said. I attended the appointment and had the usual eye tests carried out by a professional assistant . I was then called by the optician and had a quick chat explaining the problem that i had. The optician was vert professional and went on to say that she could carry out a further test but if the prescription was the same as the other one there would be a charge ! I was very surprised , why was this not explained to be prior to the assistant arranging the appointment ? I left without having the test done and had wasted my time as well as the busy opticians. I shall not be going back to Vision Express ! Im sure the staff must have training and are advised about what they should pass on to customers!

Made appointment then called us to arrive earlier than our original appointment. Nobody there to greet or talk to us about our appointment. Waited over half an hour and no one came. Left after that and never coming back. Staff looked miserable and acted annoyed upon seeing us.

I was sent for my regular eye test & they saw a cataract , they informed me the nhs was paying Spa Medica to do them free of charge so I said yes please. I saw Christian and he said he would apply for me. Two days later I got my pre op then within the week I got the op. I said to spa medica I was very impressed with the swiftness of getting it done. They said no it’s not down to us it’s your optician and the way they complete all the paperwork on the day you visited.I am so impressed with vision express. On my follow up eye test it looks like I may not even need glasses when I have this next one done. If you want a fab optician who can identify any problems with your eyes & get you cured so quickly you have to choose vision express. Best service ever. June Irwin

Had a parcel delivered today from them and when I opened it they had sent me some leads for something instead of my prescription varifocal reactolite glasses which aren’t cheap. Rang store told can’t do anything till tomorrow as the managers not in. The branch I have used over the last few years for my eye tests has been the one in Northgate Street Chester. Not happy as I spent over £600 on two pairs of glasses. Unless they compensate me I will not be going back due to poor service and unhelpful member of staff dealing with my problem. Also they addressed me as a Mrs when I’m single.

Dear Mr Onur Köksal, I am client of vision express Swiss Cottage branch. I am finalising the contact lenses process of trials. I was very happy with Priya the optometrist and Ash sales assistant and wrote a brilliant google review accordingly. They are also well aware that I am a cancer patient. Unfortunately on Saturday 20th Jan I went to the branch and the front desk lady couldn’t find my appointment in the computer , I showed her the email confirmation and text confirmation and took me to another computer to check. A colleague came to assist and eventually I was told I had to wait as they couldn’t find me but the will fit me in between appointments. Unfortunately some of the undesirable side effects of cancer treatments is incontinence, bladder and bowel problems. After a while waiting I felt in real need of a toilet and asked to please let me use the toilet explaining that I am a cancer patient and I was really desperate, I was told NO by not one but 3 of your employees. Two said said the toilets are for the staff and not for public use, I implored to make an exception taking into account my disability and I was refused and invited to walk out of the shop and visit a nearby McDonalds. By this time any sudden move felt very risky and I was getting increasingly stressed second by second, physically sick and humiliated by the refusal of your staff and by the fact that not one person from vision express staff was able to make an exception considering my condition. I find this inhuman, unkind, and shows that they were unable to take a decision to make an exception to their toilet company policy of staff only use. By then I was in tears, incredibly upset, I open the door to leave the premises but it was too late. I was already soiled . Then I gave a thought and came back into the shop and told them it was too late and the damage was already done, so I was going to have my appointment done as I wasn’t intending to come back to the shop again. I am writing to you to let you know that I find disgraceful the behaviour of your staff towards a client clearly in need, this tells you clearly the lack of empathy and absolute disregard towards a disabled ill person with cancer. I do understand they are not obliged to let clients use the toilet as staff only use is the company policy, however sometimes a little bit of kindness goes a long way when there is a person in need, they showed a lack of decision making as one of them ( I.e. shop manager could have make an exception). To clarify the appointment was at 9:30 am on a Saturday morning and the shop was not busy at all, in fact I think I was the only client left when I was about to leave. When I sat back on the chair the optometrist mentioned that she couldn’t carry out the test because of the tears on my eyes. I was given some tissues dried my eyes and continue with my appointment in such a state. Not very pleasant at all, left me feeling really low and disheartened about how this society has become so ill and selfish.

I played order for progressive lens ay Viman Nagar outlet in Pune, India Horrible product they made. I cannot see except blur near and distance . They are refusing to listen to feedback and not refusing money. Telling me various process or approval, technical review, testing etc etc. Do i need to run behind these people to get refund ??? They are asking me wear that horrible product for week to test, what non sense is this , messing up with vision. Do not go to Vision express . They have horrible customer service .

I brought my sun glasses from vision express pune in somewhere October 2022. I kept them in my collection but want to use them in summer because I was travelling that time. After 4-5 months i checked to use them but it's was cracked from 2 place. I brought that in almost 5000 I was surprised to see the quality I was not expecting this from big brand. I will never go to vision express.

Step by step information and guidance. I didn't need new glasses on this occasion. I paid for the extra deeper testing of my vision with their new machinery, it was £10 but I felt worth it as I was able to look at the close up shots taken of the underlying layers of my eyes.

I visited the oxted store and was greeted by extremely helpful staff. I was made to feel at ease as soon as I walked through the door. Kerry was lovely. Really helpful . She helped select the right style of glasses for me. I would highly recommend this branch to family and friends. Thank you for all your help.
