“Information was given out clearly. I liked the audio switch on/off element and the notes page. The printable certificate at the end was not ideal as we were doing the course on laptops with no printer. We could not save the link so we had to contact Virtual College to be sent PDFs of the certificates by email. The person I spoke to was however quick to recognise the problem and responded quickly to send me just the email I needed and was very friendly.”

“I am very disappointed that I can only print off by having to use several cartridges of ink. Half the page is solid black. I learn best by printing off and being able to read like a book so I can absorb it better and quicker. All other e learning things I have done I have been able to do this and wish now I had gone to a different site where some of my colleagues have been able to print easily. I chose you because you are local to me but now wish I hadn't. Can you please provide me with a way I can print off without this problem. I need this certificate by Thursday 8th September. ?????? “The course it's self was grand but I could not print off my certificate because I don't have Adobe. This should be stated before you purchase the course.”

“I haven't purchased your food hygiene course, I bought the Moving and Handling and medicine handling course! I've completed the m&h course which I thought could have covered more on actual use of equipment, but otherwise pretty thorough.”

“We found actually getting onto the course quite confusing, it didn't give clear directions such as click on course to start and you will need to look at the course review to start the course logging into each subject area individually. Many of our students are not competent computer users and so I felt a simplified press this button to start the course would have been good. Once into the swing of doing the units it was fine and clear to use we just struggled with the getting the course up and running.”

“The course was good and covered everything, but trying to make the certificate look professional was a nightmare!!, had to down load software, would not download with my name on it, tried many different browsers, had to crop the certificate because it was the wrong size image for a4 paper, total rubbish”

“We had 19 members of staff complete the course - the overwhelming feedback I have received is that the programme was too slow. On average it took each member of staff approx. 3 hours to complete, which was felt to be excessive.”
