Afwul service! I ordered 4 weeks ago, delivery was supposed to happen, but nothing was delivered. I qsked for my money back and Viking says they start an inquiry and it can take 5 weeks. After 4 weeks I ask again and they say that they received my complain and .... that they will start some research about it and it can take 5 weeks! I just want my money back. But noooo...they keep my money and I don't have a thing.

Ordered 2 50x2nd class stamps plus postage of £2.95 totalling £77.95. Waited a week for delivery. No delivery. Called to be told Viking don't accept orders of of stamps only and order had been cancelled. My credit card showed amount was pending. My issue is transaction was allowed to proceed. Why does website not state stamps alone cannot be ordered? Why does order proceed and provide online receipt instead being halted at the ordering stage? Why do Viking not communicate order has been cancelled? Only found out about cancellation when enquiring where stamps where? After calling twice finally discovered amount had not been taken as order had not been fulfilled. Why is none of this shared with the customer via email? All in all stressful and pretty damn poor.

Customer service along with their returns and refunds is shocking from my experience. Complete disaster trying to organise a return, took about 4 weeks to collect the items. Never got a refund for returned items as they said they had no record of the return despite many phone calls to try and arrange the return. No response to my emails. I have wasted so much time dealing with what should be a very simple return.I will never deal with this company again. STAY CLEAR.

Pathetic accounts department, ordered goods which included free carraige, Paid by Paypal, one item discontinued so tried to charge carraige, complained to call centre which took ages to get them to understand and got refund, Then saw that they had charged me for the discontinued item. Emailed them this time and was told goods were delivered. I KNOW THAT I ask about being charged for the discontinued item, Gave up, like talking to 3 year olds, Anyway 16 months YES 16 months later got a letter from solicitors Flint Bishop chasing for payment, Sent them invoice from Viking stating Paypal Payment, Would not except it as proof, So why not ask Viking why did they produce this invoice? No just added some costs and passed it on, These want naming and shaming, Had to write to their CEO in the uk as call centre is more of a kindergarden. Beaware that Viking do not update Google who their curent ceo is so addressed to wrong person Does that matter? Anyway got a reply stating that they moved my order to invoice without informing me and thus saving Paypals fees. Have spoken to Paypal and have been told that they had 28 days to capture my payment and should have accepted it and issued a partial refund, But they moved to invoice within 5 days, Forgot to say remaining goods delivered late so had bought elsewhere Have paid them by bacs now, Was going to use Paypal but they would have failed to Capture again. Viking were a good company in the past but have gone to POT. Never again, naming and shaming from now on. I did get the refund for the over charge nearly 18 months later

I was terrified after I ordered a filing cabinet and then read the reviews here (wrong order, I know). Was sure I had just been scammed and would never see my money for the filing cabinet. Indeed I didn’t have any tracking number or estimated date of delivery after placing my order which seemed ominous. However after two weeks I reached out to customer services who informed me the packet was en route, and to my great surprise a perfect filing cabinet random arrived at my front door roughly two weeks later in perfect condition. So wanted to add my experience here to balance out the bad reviews, my experience was decent +! And very pleased with the final purchase, it ended up being cheaper, better quality and better looking than alternatives at IKEA etc., just maybe more stress involved because of the lack of transparency.

Take an order then says its out of stock, but they won't take payment until its delivered they them take the payment, and I cancel the order three times and am offered a refund which never shows,,,,will never use them again and i don't recommend anyone to use them,

Bought it on 13th, promised next day delivery, didn't turn up so I cancelled on their Livechat on 15th. The day after I cancel (16th) they dispatch it. Pathetic customer service, misleading information on the website. Items are not stocked at Viking, but at their suppliers. Communication between them and their suppliers must rely on "some bloke ringing them up" because this is disgraceful. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. Now told I have to wait for 90 working hours for a response. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Hi Ordered standard 22X 12 cm standard self seal envelopes in white and 1 year ,A5 day a page desk diary. Received envelopes with windows which they exchanged with 23X15cm ones !!! The diary is 50% useless as it finishes in JULY 2023. I have requested to speak to a manager 3 times and after a week am still waiting for a call. If yoiu have plenty of time to waste and enjoy being lied to Viking is the company to use !!! Colin@Quickars 6/12/22

Viking used to be an amazing company. Used to use them a few years back when I was buying for another company. Everything was excellent, delivery always on time, any issues resolved promptly. Just took over the buying for a charity and decided to use Viking again. BIGGEST MISTAKE. THE COMPANY IS UNRECOGNISABLE. Needed a printer urgently to set up an off site food bank the next day. Placed order on the website at 9.30am and paid by the charity debit card, and received a confirmation email 5 mins later. Thought all good. At approximately 4.45 missed a call from Viking so called them straight back. 1. The first person I spoke to didn't seem to know what was going on, but said to me that as we were a new customer the Credit Control dept were doing their 'investigations'. I reminded her that we hadn't asked for credit, the order was paid for and our bank had already authorised the payment as pending for Viking (Checked while on the phone). She said they would call me back probably the next day. I informed her that that was unacceptable as the order was urgent, and if they could not deliver they should just say so. After some insistence she finally agreed to put me through to Credit Control. 2. The second person (in Credit Control) just started repeating everything the first one said just in a louder voice! I informed her that I can speak louder as well so I suggest she lowers her voice. Once again I explained that this order was urgent, paid for, and she needs to confirm whether they can deliver or not. She turned around and said we they can't deliver as they had only just received the order at 4.30pm. I informed her that I had a confirmation email from 9.35 am, but she kept on insisting that they had only just received the order, and eventually cut me off! 3. I called back immediately, and spoke to another person in Credit Control. Who said to me they can't deliver as we hadn't paid for it. I sent her a copy of the confirmation email as well as screenshot of the bank payment authorisation, but this Credit Control person didn't seem to understand and said 'that means they haven't paid us'. I then had to educate her about how card authorisation works and she replied, 'you should wait a couple of days for the bank to pay'!!! Her other alternative suggestion was that we should make another payment by bank transfer.!!! Eventually, she said her shift was up, and I gave up. Time 6.00pm. Next morning I emailed Viking to cancel the order and our account, and placed another order with another company with no headache and perfect delivery. The food bank had to be delayed for a few days due to Viking's incompetence. BEWARE.

What an absolute rip off this place is, office depot by itself was so much better. the customer service is now non existent. since RAJA took over it's gone even worse.

They delivered my order to a random address in a different county and are chasing me for payment, absolute joke. No matter who you talk to, they say they have GPS and photo of delivery, both showing somebody else's address,

I had to ring them and pay for the call to verify the payment. Then I decided to cancel and spoke to the live chat that said it was not a problem. The next day they said they said it was too late to cancel. Then the next day they sent an email to say it had been dispatched???? Kept emailing to say I want it cancelled but the reply was always I have to wait for it to be delivered and refuse the package. They delivered it to the neighbour so couldn’t refuse it. The package looked as though it had been previously opened and then re packaged with sellotape. Then they said they would pick up the package yesterday from 8am to 6pm and they didn’t. My partner was in ALL day. It’s just ongoing nonsense and a way to keep our money for longer. Terrible customer service. Still have the package and can’t get a refund until Its returned.

Ordered an vacuum in October. Its broken and the switch is faulty. They tried to fraud me out of more money to buy a replacement until the old one was returned. We agreed they would collect it and just refund me. 1 Month later they haven't done anything and just ignore my emails. I wouldn't use them ever again for anything. They have left a family of 4 without a working Vacuum for over a month. No apologies given or reasons as to why this has happened. Just told each time I speak to someone they will sort it out. 10 Days so far I have now waited for a manger to call me.

After messing up a delivery, Viking sent me more product, then the original arrived. Viking waited 6 months to contact me via a very spammy looking email demanding I pay for the extra product, within a few days they threatened me with a collections agency. I paid the 'debt' and have decided to never work with Viking again. I contacted customer service to ask them to delete my personal info, they assured me this was done and the next day I could log in and still see my personal info. I called again to request they delete my personal info and the customer service person lied again, saying it was deleted and just giving long frustrating silences when asked why they lied the previous time. I logged back into my account to see the personal info they said they deleted twice. I'm taking this to the Data protection commission. This company has blatantly violated my rights under GDPR

Absolutely appalling costumer service. Out of 3 orders of office items, twice I did not receive the entire order. When called the costumer service, the rude girl on the phone told me to reorder and pay again for the items until they investigate the matter with the courier. Why can't Viking deploy a reliable courier, provide a better service to its costumers, send the missing items then investigate the matter. I will cancel my account with them and order on Amazon next time. PS. I am still waiting for the missing items.

11 weeks later and the business still haven't come to collect my returned item and by doing so, have deprived me of my money that I should have had back by now. I ordered a hoover in February in preparation for a house move, which fell through a few days later. I arranged to return the item on 17 February. The following day someone came round to "collect" my item but had no ID, no idea what they were collecting and couldn't provide a receipt for collection. I asked them to come back if they could provide 1 of those things. I spoke to Viking, who confirmed that their courier should be able to provide at least 2 of those. However, since then no one has come back to collect my item. I've been messed around for several weeks as Viking have been in touch weekly to say collection has been arranged, but no one has come to collect. At this point, I've got no hope that they will come to collect and I just want my money back. I've even offered to arrange my own return as long as they're willing to cover the cost. There also doesn't seem to be a complaints process so now I'm kinda stuck in this banal cycle. Overall, a real poor show from a company I've had previous good experiences with. Very disappointed.
