“Viking are always outstanding in terms of River Cruises, excursions, and on board activities. We will return to this company again and again, staff on board are friendly, helpful and always do that little bit extra. On board you feel as if you are on a five star hotel”

“Liked the trip. Shame you could lose our bags twice meaning alate night search when we were tired. The hotel were very good in supplying wine when our bags were found after an error by your staff" We hope next months cruise is better.”

“we spent a most enjoyable cruise on the danube during April. The crew of the Viking Prestige were excellent in all aspects, the crew from the dining room and bar surpassed our expectations and took pride in looking after my 89yr old mother in law. the excursions were excellent as was the food, we are still cooking some of the recipes at home! and the wines were excellent. we came home and booked for next year immediately, keep up the great work and Thank You again. “We have been on 2 of your river cruises over the past 2 years - the Elbe in 2014 and the Rhone this year - both of which we found very enjoyable. On both occasions, the boats and crews were impeccable. On the Elbe I needed hospital treatment as I had developed a DVT on the flight to Prague, and the care I received on the boat was excellent. We shall certainly consider another trip.”

“We really enjoyed our cruise on the Rhone and met many interesting people. We loved seeing and walking in the various towns we stopped at and the staff on board ship were all friendly and helpful.The food was good and the menus varied. All in all a wonderful experience which we would happily recommend to others.”

“Our cruise along the Rhone and Saone was excellent in every way. The visits to the Papal Palace, the Van Gogh sites, the Beaune Hospital etc were enthralling and efficiently prepared by Viking. The staterooms were comfortable; the meals, including wines, were uniformly delicious; the staff were friendly and always cheerful and helpful. My wife and I thought the cruise was just great.”

“My sister and I enjoyed our cruise on the River Rhone very much. The food was excellent and all the staff were exceptionally helpful. We talked to a member of staff who remembered us from a cruise on the Rhine in 2012. We thought that was unbelievable.”

“Amsterdam to Frankfurt care of Viking- Their usual superb service made this voyage a memory not to forget. From the Redlight district to the Castles of the Rhine and the bridge at Remegan, all experiences not to miss especially with the expertise of Vikings tour guides. Next time we are on the new Viking Star in the Med and hopefully very soon the Emerald in Vhina”

“Elegant Elbe- Viking Fontane. Public areas excellent, staff most attentive and efficient, as was our cabin steward. Our cabin, however, was rather cramped and the air conditioning unit somewhat noisy. My bed was narrow and uncomfortable. Food was superb throughout. Tour guides were helpful and knowledgeable. German speaking guides didn't seem to know that "schloss" means either castle (their usual translation) or "country house/stately home", which the "schlosses" we visited were!”

“Our Elegant Elbe cruise in April this year was everything we expected and more. This was our third cruise with Viking and we loved the fact that it was a small intimate ship. AS always the staff from Captain to cabin staff were first class and so helpful.Being able to to take lunch in the bar was a welcome "difference" to our previous trips, we loved the informal atmosphere and the chance to eat "lightly" and not overload our stomachs for the evening meal. In saying that it was excellent in the restaurant in the evenings too and we enjoyed the varied menus on offer. Well Done Viking, you never fail to please”

“The journey up the Rhone was very enjoyable, particularly when we reached the Burgundy district. In particular the guided tour of the Hospice was a highlight.”
