Boiler installed in October just before the cold winter. Installers were efficient and tidy. With the increase in the cost of fuel we found our new boiler to be economical.

Takes a long while to heat up, so only 1 degree an hour in my house. But, quiet, reliable and good value.

Went with installer as per yourselves, when we had problems with boiler it was difficult to contact yourselves as phones very busy and told to call back later. After boiler had broken down on the second occasion we were notified of the incorrect condenser pipe . By your engineer. We then notified installer who came out after several days , but we are still waiting for the outside pipes to be insulated and had been collecting water in a bucket in airing cupboard until there was no risk of frost to prevent damage to boiler . Have rang installer on at least three occasions re insulation but still waiting.

I am pleased that it is efficient and therefore relatively environmentally friendly. A cover to hide pipework would have been helpful but I am still impressed by it. A relief to have a reliable boiler of quality.

Just bought 15Lit Water Heater, Looks better than the one i had before which leaked from the water tank.

For the first year after the installation the boiler was great, then the problems started. The boiler is very quiet, but we’ve had constant problems with the heating not coming on, or falling to get above 17c. The Viessmann approved installer has come out 7 times and hasn’t managed to fix it. Viessmann coming out this week to hopefully fix it.

The documentation provided with the boiler is wrong in certain sections. Certain features are not available in certain modes of operation. The response to email queries is poor.

The company who installed the boiler were very poor. Dirty workman and did not resolve the air locked in the system which caused the boiler not firing up and showing the red triangle. To resolve this after,weeks of cold radiators I had to pay for the fitting of a pressure tank in the airing cupboard. Although this is not a Viessmann problem it did not reflect well on the overall experience.

The boiler chosen is living up to our expectations, very quiet when providing the heat required. At the end of the day boilers are still expensive to run under todays price of fuel. But it's a top boiler to purchase.

I understood these were the boilers to go for, so we had our Worcester Boach 24 cdi replaced with a Viessman 050 30kw, the model recommended as a suitable size replacement. The installation went very smoothly but a few weeks later, hot water failed. A Viessman engineer visited and said it was a very small blockage in the impeller of a valve within the boiler, so replaced the valve with a filter to help prevent the same happening again. He was surprised a piece of grit (or whatever it was) so small would cause the problem but there you go. We can hear the pump working when the boiler is on so I asked him why the boiler is noisier than the 20+ year old Worcester it replaced, particularly as it is advertised as quiet. He said it has a higher output than the Worcester, so is bound to be noisier and that he did not consider it noisier than it should be. His comment made me feel like I cannot book an engineer to look at it without being charged, as he already dismissed it as not a problem. Additionally, occasionally the hot water just does not come on. we have to turn the tap off for a short while and try again. An intermittent problem like that is very hard to prove and you can bet it would work ok an engineer called, so we would have to pay. I read loads about boilers before having ours replaced. Viessmann seemed the best but I'm disappointed. I wish we had picked a Worcester instead.

great product difficult to get technical advice have to call customer services first pretending you need a part then get transferred to technical and wait a long time for call to be answered as this is the same number for installers Please add customer technical helpline 9or add option to automated options) as often it is a relatively easy fix
